Gil rules! I miss the popcorn machine because the more p-corn you eat, the more you can drink. And aside from the place opening whenever they feel like it over the past 13 years, they make a great drink, have a lot of sports on TV and have good music. Maybe one day Jeff the Bartender will come back!
I like it here! It's not loud and raucous unless the kc chiefs or royals are on the numerous flat screen tvs. It's more a friendly social watering hole geared towards parrot heads and people of that generation. I've never seen any displays of anger or violence while there. The staff are friendly and courteous. What else can I say? It even has a large outside patio for those of us who find a serious need to pollute our lungs with smoking. It's a good place for friends to gather...read full review

Sharkeez is an absolute must for anyone in the area. The staff is great, friendly, attentive, and damn strong pours. The crowd is eclectic and everyone gets along in this atmosphere. I would highly recommend this to anyone.
