“Holy. We ordered tonight for a delivery (keep in mind it’s snowing and we HATE ordering when the weather is bad) and the delivery was super fast, the driver was the nicest and our food was really warm and enjoyable! Thank you so so much. I couldn’t be more happy with the driver.“

“Got there early before our 8 o’clock reservations to have cocktails at the bar prior to seating. Unfortunately, a bunch of squatters eating pizza at the bar had the place completely packed so we had to wait in the foyer before we got seated. not sure why a place of this stature doesn’t have an appropriate cocktail pre-dinner waiting area for reservation guests instead allows perennial squatters to compromise that area. Do they really need the money that bad? Our waitress said the people that are eating at the bar are the same ones week after week after week. I recommend you go somewhere else to have cocktails before dinner. food was really , really good and we will go back but will go somewhere else for a pre-dinner cocktails and show up at reservation time. Otherwise we’ll be standing out in the foyer while squatters are at the bar. This is a common practice among the nicer restaurants in town. I will say the food was really special. we had the shrimp and scallop entree, the pizza, and the morel mushroom special. All were outstanding. Wine by the bottle pricing was appropriate. Very nice dinner for sure.“

“I would put myself in debt to eat this food, It's so incredible the head chef is brilliant, and the staff from the front of the house to the back make the entire experience a joy. the wild boar and polenta is writing home about worthy, and the tirimisu makes me emotional... the pizza is literally the only pizza in st louis worth eating and I'm from Chicago so I feel like my opinion is extra valid lol. there are a ton of "fancy restaurants" in St. Louis but table cloths and wine selection don't mean crap when the menu of a reasonably priced pizza joint makes your food look like McDonald's by comparison.“

“My new favorite pizza in STL! I had the Porky Fig and my friend had the Don Corleone; both very good pizzas!Good beer selection (anything by Log Boat is always a great choice!)Also great to see a lots of people busily and happily working post-COVID when so many places are seeking help and have skeleton crews!“

“Due to a really pleasant experience, I am going to give this place another try and a boost to 4 stars although I really want to lean closer to 3.5. Restaurant is small with a handful of kind of uncomfortable tables (table base is really big, not a lot of room for your feet) in a small front-area, a counter for ordering, and a narrow bar "next door" through a doorway. Ordering experience was stellar. Great service with a smile from the delightful woman manning the register. I also liked the thoughtful placement of a cart with to-go containers, extra silverware sets, and napkins so you can help yourself to what you need. 3 of 4 of us ordered a lunch special which was probably not the best intro to this place. 8 inch pizza with up to 3 toppings (generous), side a drink for a decent price. it's really hard to evaluate a pizza in an 8 inch size. Pizza to me was ok. I thought the sauce needed more flavor and I thought the toppings (especially onions) didn't cook all the way through before the crust finished. My pizza was just a little bland. Side salads were fresh, had plenty of good veggies, and dressings were good but the small bowls made it hard to toss. My daughter especially liked the big artichokes in the full-size house salad. We had both the bone in and boneless wings and they were fine fresh, well cooked, but nothing outstanding. The lady at the bar was very nice and helpful picking a house-made beer which was decent. As we were getting ready to go back to the counter to order some warm cookies for the kids the very nice woman at the counter brought a plate to our table. Very generous and just a great service experience. Although our first intro to the food was only OK, I do think the service was good enough to try a couple of full-sized pizzas to really judge the quality. I wish I could do 3.5 stars but the great experience was enough to bump them up.“

“Was reluctant at first, but I'm glad my better half decided that we were going to try as we have never been. As we entered, we were greeted with a simple and soft welcome, we looked at the menu and decided to try a NY style crust, best decision by far! The toppings were perfect for the pizza, not overwhelming, the taste was great and will definitely come back.“

“People have asked me to recommend a good pizza place. I will recommend THE BEST pizza place I know... Double D's Pizzeria.Double D's is a small, family owned and operated, establishment located along Tesson Ferry Rd. between Butler Hill Rd. and Wells Rd.I highly recommend their St. Louis style pizza, calzones, chicken wraps, and cheese fries - among many other things on their menu. Their pizzas are thin crust with a blend of cheeses. If you like bacon on your pie, you'll LOVE this... Bacon crumbles AND strips. I honestly can't put it in words how good it is.Double D's is a family friendly restaurant with eat-in and carry out options (no delivery). The ambiance inside is laden with sports jerseys and memorabilia from local high school sports teams. Multiple TV's in the restaurant showcase sports channels and other entertainment. There is also a small game room with a couple of arcade type games to keep the littles entertained. You honestly can't go wrong here. If you're looking for a local, non-commercial family friendly pizza place, then look no further than Double D's!!“

“Best unexpected menu item...Rolando's Merry Christmas Chicken Noodle soup. This is not your grandmother's Chicken soup! The soup was a delectable blend of tender chunks of chicken, sweet carrots, Christmas Tree pasta, and celery in a savory broth with melting Parmigiano cheese on top. A palate-pleasing meld of flavors for the soul!“

“Terrible service from EJ. He never checked to see how our food was, not once, after salad or entree. The food was okay. Parmesan would have helped maybe. We had to ask for more water. We had a gift card from our kids to use, but EJ said the internet was down and we couldn't use it. We asked for a manager, and he said he was the manager, which is really surprising considering the lack of service we received. He finally took the gift card off of our bill. He was not a good server or manager in our opinion. Bus boy was pretty good. We would not recommend this place. EJ shouldn't be serving!! We still gave him a 15% tip, which was more than deserved. Usually, we give much more.“

“My companion and I shared a St Louis style sausage and mushroom pizza. It was very good, however we both suspected that the chef tossed some mozzarella in with the provel. It was very tasty, just a surprise when expecting a true St Louis style pizza. My companion also had the house salad with house dressing and said that it was very good. The service was a little discombobulated because it appeared that they were shorthanded right before lunch but we weren't neglected. All in all a very good lunch!“

“Waited a long long time to sit and a long long time for the food. It was busy but I was told they were short staffed too. Got GF pizza and it was very good. They need a bigger location and be more organized to handle the traffic. Have a take out station closer to door.“

“This is such a great brunch find! Unique menu full of locally sourced ingredients. Fresh pressed juices and fabulous coffee bar. The ambiance is eclectic, warm, and inviting. The restaurant follows an admirable quality of sustainability and carbon footprint consciousness. There is a taproom and cocktail lounge Thursday-Saturday evenings featuring local singer-songwriter focusing on Americana with occasional blues and jazz. The taproom boasts handcrafted cocktails and pints from locally sourced breweries. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about their menu. It's definitely become a family favorite!“

“This was the best pizza I've had in a while. The crust is what did it for me. A little crisp with some chew. It has flavor by itself, not just a bland base like a lot of places. The toppings were good, too.I had the Philly Cheesesteak and loved it.We had our pies in about 5 minutes, which was great because I can get impatient when I'm hungry.Since there's no dine-in option, we just parked in the big parking lot and had a little impromptu tailgate dinner date.Looking forward to our next visit.“

“The wife and I ate here for the first time recently and the experience was phenomenal. The drink we tried was the Grateful Dead (very tasty) it was very colorful, but don't let that fool you, it is strong, we got the Spinach Artichoke Dip (omg, it changed my life) I have never tasted such great tasting spin dip as this one in my life, and we got the Holy Shiitake pizza (mouthwatering). The pizza's name speaks for itself, cuz holy shiitake was it was amazing. Have to say that we will be back when are in the area without a doubt.“

“First time at Picklemans. Staff was upbeat and courteous. Great value for the money. Restaurant clean. Bread was fresh, vegetables fresh. Lemonade was awesome. The chips were a brand I wasn't familiar with, but they were delicious. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 was that the chicken salad was a bit bland. Otherwise, I would recommend and will go back again.“

“So let me tell you a story about a gluten free taco pizza and a guy who has celiac (surprise twist, the guy is me) I was having a good day. I'm recovering from a stem cell transplant that took place about about a year ago. The transplant was a success but recovery has been rough. It's been a very hard year. Originally the guy was from Iowa and they have a lovely taco pizza at the Casey's gas station (don't judge until you've had it anyway). Our guy learned he had celiac and thought he'd never again have a gluten free taco pizza. Fast forward 20 ish years and thhhhje guy is recovering from his stem cell transplant. It went perfectly, shout out Barnes Jewish Hospital but guy continues to suffer from GVHD. Back to today I made a fantastic breakfast because my blood sugar was good. I get to lunch and I'm feeling a grilled cheese sandwich with tomato bisque soup. I get my soup on, I go to get my bread.. mold.... Ok I'll figure something out. Then out of nowhere my head feels like it was dunked into a fishbowl. I check my pulse ox and heart rate knowing my heart rate is gonna be skyrocketing and sure enough it is but I see my pulse ox and it says 67 and I'm like surely that isn't right but yup 67 it is. I abandon my not bread sandwich and sit down I tell my partner and she calls my oncology team and they say call 911 and do whatever the ambulance says and I'm like ok. Ambulance gets there they don't take me and we go to the nearest ER shout out to Mercy South. Anyway the ER has food but nothing gluten free. Now it's like 7 or 8 and the kitchen is closed. I decide I'm gonna door dash and what do I find... A loc gluten free taco pizza. I'm so overjoyed that I bought the nursing staff some garlic bites (surprise twist number two they loved them) but alas no taco pizza there must have been a mistake on door dashes part. I contact them and they give me credit.. cool beans. I contact pie oh my Pizza and they recognized the order and saw where the mix up might have occured. At this point I believe the kitchen is closed and the oven is shut down but they're like no you wanted a gluten free taco pizza you're gonna to get a gluten free taco pizza. They fired up the ovens and made one of the greatest pizzas I've ever had in my entire life. So the best shout out o Chris Gurley and JoAnna Kinnison for bringing that place to life and whoever else worked tonight. They don't even have a delivery service one of their employees had to figure out what hospital and get it to me. That's above and beyond in my book. Bonus shout out to my man Ry an amazing nurses aide. During my recovery it's been an emotional and physical rollercoaster and people like Chris, JoAnna, Ry, Tosha (my nurse) and the other staff at Oh My Pizzza Pie and Mercy South that help me find my way through this.“

“It was okay! Toppings were flavorful. Recommend the Maui Wowie with bacon, pineapple and jalapeños. The Spinach Artichoke Dip with the bread crisps was so addicting. The one thing I wasn't crazy for was the pizza dough/crust. It's big! But bland. Was hoping for even a hint of salt or something to make the dough palatable, but unfortunately it wasn't too enjoyable. It was also very tough and chewy. Pretty solid overall, though! Delicious.Dietary restrictions: Gluten Free options“

“We came here on an impromptu date night, and it was great! Plenty of parking, lots of seats and lots of St. Louis decor. Food all looked good and we had a hard time picking. Chose to get the appetizer sampler and a custom double decker pizza. We picked meatballs, fresh garlic, artichoke hearts and pepperocinis. Lots of leftovers! Everything tasted great and paired well with a couple of beers. Our server did a great job of getting g us what we needed and giving us space to enjoy it. Very friendly and helpful! We are looking forward to coming back soon and trying the sandwiches and salads!“

“Massa's is the penultimate American Italian cuisine and one of the best in the country! It's cozy with attentive service. The food is more than one can eat. The Carbona and Cajun pasta are world class! Please remember this is American Italian. They're not going to give you olive oil and vinegar and little European delicacies. They're going to give you great food and lots of it.Note, getting there is an experience in itself, this restaurant is a real sudden turn off of a freeway on ramp. “I've lived in STL for over 40yrs and last night was my first time here. I've clearly been deprived all that time. Fun, quirky, cozy place with great service and ample room to spread out and have fun. As others have said, great dive bar, hidden gem, etc. In the case of this place, it's both the journey (to get there) AND the destination (a place you want to be) all in one. From the super cool 100+yr old one lane bridge on the road in, to the money stapled to the ceiling, this place would be equally at home in places like New Orleans or Chicago. I will definitely be back.“

“The food was excellent! Our party of two ordered one entree from the menu and requested a non-menu entree that was prepared perfectly. The app offerings are well thought-out and range from 'standard' through 'gourmet'. Everything was prepared as requested and served on a timely basis. The dessert selection is rather limited, but the aperitifs will replace any dessert shortcomings very well. And if you are like me and enjoy coffee after dinner, they offer espresso and cappuccino. Entree prices are mostly in the $20 -$30 range as are most comparable restaurants in their geography. The service is top-shelf; our server was Shawn. He was friendly, accommodating, very knowledgeable of menu items, professional and willing to assist should diners want assistance. Shawn is an absolute "Pro"! The ambience is clean, open (tables not jammed against each other) and functional. It's great to not be forced to listen to another table's conversation. If I could offer one suggestion it would be to 'lower the brightness' in the dining room, it has a negative effect on the entire experience. We will become regular customers of Gianfabio's.“

“The food was different. Not exactly the pizza I expected, especially for the price. Some of the pineapples tasted iffy. The salad was an excellent mix of greens and chicken. Some cheese would have nice. You line up to order, and they bring your food to the table AND still expect a tip. It's pretty much the same service as many fast food places. It was nice to have real utensils and napkins. That was a good touch. The dining room was neat and mostly clean. Some of the staff were very friendly and some....not so much.Parking: Even after the rush, parking was sparse.Wheelchair accessibility: It is.“

The place could use some work but has improved alot in the past couple years. Love the desert display when I walk in, has got bare mostly because I don't think foot traffic has been that great. “I worked at 2 pizza places as a teenager so I’m the last person to criticize what they do… at the same time my daughter and I went in on a Friday night and somehow my online order was overlooked. Everyone in the store was accommodating and one worker in particular (I’m sorry I didn’t get the name) went above and beyond to make my child happy. He overheard her talking about flipping the dough and gave her a small piece to play with while we waited and then gave her a soda to make up for our order being “lost” as we watched everyone else come and go with their orders. Not only was I more than willing to wait with understanding, but I also had my child complaining when we had to leave because she wanted to stay longer. Thank you for the little things!“

“I have gone here my whole life and still love going here. This last time I went the fettuccine was not that great. I would still eat here and recommend this place to everyone. Can't wait to see the house dressing sold in stores one day.“

“I recently had the pleasure of visiting Imo's Pizza, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. From the moment I entered the store, I was greeted with a warm smile and a genuine sense of hospitality. This initial interaction set the tone for what turned out to be an incredibly enjoyable visit.First and foremost, I was immediately impressed by the cleanliness of the place. The entire establishment was spotless, reflecting a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene. It was clear that Imo's Pizza takes pride in providing a clean and comfortable environment for its customers. Now, let's talk about the main attraction: the pizza. Oh my goodness, it was absolutely delicious! The moment I took my first bite, I knew I was in for a treat. The crust was thin and crispy, just the way I like it, and the toppings were spread out evenly, allowing for a perfect balance of flavors in each bite. The cheese was perfectly melted, and the sauce had a delightful tanginess that complemented the overall taste of the pizza. It was evident that Imo's Pizza uses high-quality ingredients to create their masterpieces. What truly sets Imo's Pizza apart, however, is the attention to detail and the commitment to customer satisfaction. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that my visit was exceptional. They were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. They gladly answered all my questions and made excellent recommendations. In addition to the remarkable pizza, Imo's Pizza offers a wide range of options to cater to different preferences and dietary needs. Whether you're a meat lover, a vegetarian, or someone with specific dietary restrictions, you'll find something that suits your taste at Imo's Pizza.Overall, my experience at Imo's Pizza was nothing short of fantastic. The warm welcome, the cleanliness of the place, and, of course, the mouthwatering pizza made it a memorable visit. I would highly recommend Imo's Pizza to anyone in search of a truly delightful dining experience. It's a place where you can expect exceptional service, a clean environment, and pizza that will leave you craving for more. Imo's Pizza has certainly earned its five-star rating in my book!“
