“Great donuts. Raspberry Oreo might've been my favorite. All of them were very soft and fresh. They were out of the French apple so we could not try that one. But the cream cheese, blueberry, cinnamon roll doughnut was huge! And so so yummy. The maple bacon was great as well, the perfect balance of savory and sweet. The reason I give four stars instead of five is that the inside could use a little bit of work. Maybe add a table or two? It wasn't very inviting. This is more of a grab and go place. There is nowhere to sit and eat your donuts or hang out. However, they do serve coffee to go. I did not try it.“
“This donut shop is phenomenal! I don’t even know how to tell you how amazing they are. I’ve tried A LOT of donut shops in and around the St. Louis area as doing so, is part of my business. I do Donut Walls for weddings and events. Donut Drive In has NEVER disappointed me! They are top notch! Always so fresh and tasty! Wedding guest LOVE their donuts. Every time I order from them, I’m impressed by the whole process from easily ordering them online, to picking them up. I love that option! The staff including Erin, are exceptional! Is the front walk in area small? Yes, but who cares! It’s an old fashion AMAZING donut shop that isn’t made for you to sit down and eat inside. Oh they’re just so delicious! They are always making the donuts fresh. Every time I pick them up, they’re like friendly busy bees. Bravo to you all for keeping up the donut quality and standards that the original owner sooooo many years ago implemented.“
“Gotta love a place that sees you drooling over hot Cinnamon twist donuts and the guy breaks off a piece of melt in your mouth warm donuts. The glazed croissants are amazing. Really like the newer crew in there the past few years…. Definitely have a passion for what they do it shows in the product. Will be back !“
“This place is worth a try if you've never been. They have a huge amount of donut options. I enjoyed the butterfinger chocolate cake and the m&m chocolate cake flavor. My ham egg and cheese on a whole wheat bagel was hot and fresh. My husband says that the burger was mediocre, but he really loved his glazed donut. Friendly staff as well.“
“Had a perfectly delightful stop here on a Thursday morning. I am a tough sell on a premium doughnut, but these were marvelous! Perfect - moist, doughy consistency and delicious. Got a half dozen of their top sellers and a coffee. Will definitely be back - thank you!!“
“Get there before he sells out! Neighborhood bakery. Family owned and operated. Small place with big taste. There is a signature taste that cannot be duplicated. You know how donuts taste like...well...donuts but nothing too special about the recipe? Well there is something really delicious going on here. Fresh, different varieties, and sometimes something unique. I recommend any of the glazed and the cinnamon twist is seasoned perfectly without being overbearing. I like the blueberry glazed too! He serves cold drinks and coffee as well. This is definitely the bakery to go to! Busy in the AM but service is pretty fast. A one (wo)man show.“
“The inside is built for a grab and go/takeout sort of situation. Despite the cashier was rushing me through my order since it was my second time there (I was perusing the case of options), the donuts I settled on were good. My friend spoke highly of the apple fritters and I understand why! It's the perfect balance of apples and diabetes. I red velvet cake donut was my second favorite from what I ordered. The custard filled one was meh.“
“Cool little late night quickie spot. I definitely appreciate having it in the area as an alternative to WC or nothing at all. However, the strange donut concept is played. That gooey butter cake donut is gross. How about just a good plain old fashion buttermilk cake donut with icing. That would suffice. But nevertheless, 5 stars on my little late night snack.“
“They have some of the best donuts in the lou so light and airy like you eating a cloud melts in your mouth there special burritos are good I'm going to try the bagel sandwich next but donuts it don't matter what kind you get even the cake donuts I love the blueberry so delicious and I normally don't like cake donuts but there's are exquisite once you try it you'll be hooked a must try“
“Here's the thing, you pull up and it's obvious that this place is joyful. Great signage, lots of color, clean, fresh, and a back wall of these beautiful, scrumptious looking (and smelling!) donuts, and other items too. The donuts are that tender, flaky, not cakes kind, with the crackly sugar and frosting that could have been made by your grandma, super tasty, and seemingly with real vanilla. A grand slam doughnut joint! I recommend you try the vanilla long John - it is my wife's favorite and now it is mine. Stop by and pick out your favorite donuts and remember to break it open and smell it deeply before you eat it, the smell, oh my goodness, it is entrancing. One of my top favorite smells of all times!“
“This place is a St Louis staple! It’s corky and fun look are very misleading, because these are hands down the best donuts in the downtown area! The staff is ready to roll super early, so I called them at 5am to place an order for an office get together. They had it all ready by the time I swung by. When you open the door to the shop it smells like bakery sweets heaven! The staff is friendly, and the prices reasonable.“
“I have stopped through the drive thru several times for breakfast and it has been amazing! I have tried the turkey egg cheese croissant and the apple fritter so far. Prices are great. This place is WAY better than any McDonald's. Thanks for making this a quick, delicious and affordable option.“
“Started going to this place during the pandemic on an acquaintance's recommendation. It's been my go-to donut spot ever since. The people who work here are super friendly, and always incredibly nice to my kids when I bring them in. The donuts are great, and they usually have a pretty good variety. Nothing too fancy, but they do what they do well.“
“My usual Monday morning donut stop was unexpectedly closed, so I hopped on the highway and came to Fenton looking for my fix. It was well worth the drive!I'm typically more of a fan of glazed donuts vs iced ones, but the icing at this shop is really good! The maple bacon donut was the very best of that variety I've ever had. The maple icing was sweet and delicious, and the donut had a generous amount of bacon crumbles on it. It is phenomenal! Do yourself a favor and get two if they have them when you go. You won't be sorry. The carmel iced cinnamon roll was also excellent thanks to that icing. All of the donuts I had from this shop were delicious. Other highlights were the glazed devil's food cake donut, the carmel pecan Danish, the chocolate coconut cake donut, and the chocolate sprinkled long John. Like I said, I'm usually not a big icing guy, but I wish I had gotten more iced donuts here. It was so good!10/10, really good donuts! I'll definitely try them again!“
“These donuts are so light and airy. The shop is a true gem in the community. Call in advance for big orders but you will never be disappointed because the donuts are spectacular all flavors. Staff is sooo nice and greet you with smiles. Will make your coffee and make your day.“
“French crullers, donut holes, cake donuts are the best. All of their donuts are amazing! The dough is so light and never greasy! Delicious! I love the family atmosphere! They are so kind and sweet! The best donuts hands down in Sainy Louis!“
“I've walked by this place many times during my visits to St. Louis, so finally decided to stop in and grab a dozen for my coworkers. They had a large variety of freshly made donuts at reasonable prices. Service was quick and efficient. My favorite was the caramel apple fritter.“
“Visited this little gem in Maplewood two days in a row. Such a quiet and beautiful place located next to a cute little park. We stopped in and sampled their toast trio, donuts, coffee and absolutely loved it all. The staff is incredible sweet and on our 2nd visit they were hosting an open mic for the String Collective. Not only did we get to bask in the sun, we got to listen to incredible performance while eating our yummy treats. We will be back!“
