“Opens at noon. We arrived a little after. Only a couple people in the bright open space. (Busier as the time progressed). Order t the counter with plenty of room if there is a line. Woman at the counter was upbeat and friendly, answered our questions as it was our first time in. She is great at her role, you really need someone like her as the first impression. Not every place gets that. Ordering was pretty easy and we got a QR code to place any additional orders without getting back in line. Soda and condiment station for drinks, mustard, ketchup, hot sauce, and utensils. Clean and well organized just like the overall space. Food came out pretty quick. It was also organized, a strange term to use but it fits, not sloppy. My burger was tasty, I will order the bun instead of the sourdough next time, very buttery and a little greasy for me my husband rolls his eyes at that. How could anything be too buttery? I'm strange! The fries were thin and crispy. Very good. I ordered ranch in the side. If you like ranch that is dill forward you will like this. I'm not a fan. My husband used the QR code to order cake for dessert. He found it a little hard to navigate but was able to complete the order with no issues. I enjoyed Burger Champ. Live the clean, breathe space and the food was good, too. Service was a notch above“

“The Maplewood location is what I am speaking about. The food was good. The counter service was good also. The problem was the many dirty tables. The place wasn't that busy. Yet, no one wanted to clear the table. My dining partner thought his plate was not cleaned from before. An unclean environment may lead one to believe that everything is dirty.Parking: Lots of spaces in front of place.“

“Ukusno! This place was delicious! I was recommended to this place by some Bosnian friends and it did not disappoint! The food was incredible; easily the best Balkan food I've had in America. The bread, the cevapi, the burek, the kajmak it was all prepared perfectly! I couldn't stop eating! I finished a large cevapi order to myself! The kupus salata was also very tasty. I'd definitely come back next time I'm in STL. Great service and an overall wonderful dining experience.“

And the staff was so incredibly nice. Our waiter was outstanding. Probably some of the best genuine service I’ve ever received. I wish I could remember his name to give him his credit. I only deducted a star because they were out of the ingredients dish my friend wanted and the bacon and cheese potatoes were a bit over charred. But overall the food was delicious.“

It’s not a laptop spot per they don’t make it weird if it’s not too crowded. “Love coming here! Always get a good latte with vanilla shots. All the staff are friendly and approachable (shout-out to Mario and Andrea!) They have amazing omelettes you can get with pancakes, waffles, french toast, or biscuits and gravy. It's a great brunch place to also get your favorite drink or lunch!“

“This review was originally a lot lower when I first wrote it... 2 starts at first. Im glad I waited to write it because what started off rocky ended so well.We came in and were seated right away. We ordered, but it was taking a long time to get our food. Turns out, they mispalced our ticket order... twice. The servers were very kind (except for 1 of them), but it was chaotic and not well organized. 4 other parties who came in after us got their food before we did. It was not a complicated order (deluxe biscuits and gravy and Traditional breakfast), so we had decided to leave.The owner then came out, hand delivered our food, and apologized for the inconvenience. So, we decided to stay.Let me tell you... the food was worth the wait. SOO DELICIOUS. Easily the best biscuits and gravy and I've ever had. Additionally, the fried potatos were exceptional; perfectly crisp and well seasoned. “I made a lunch reservation online for my mom's birthday about a week in advance, they made sure to accommodate all special requests that were submitted along with it. The hostess and our waiter both wished her a happy birthday upon greeting us and sat us in from of the window as previously requested. We ordered crispy Brussels sprouts and a couple sandwiches to share. Everything was served in a timely manner, courses were spread evenly apart. The atmosphere is light, open and spacious. I absolutely love the floor to ceiling windows and all the natural light. We had a great time and they gave us a complementary birthday treat. Our waiter made a point to ask if we were members of the museum and applied our membership discount to our bill. I thought that was extremely kind of him especially because I did not realize that was a perk and wouldn't have known to ask. 10/10“

“Especiallly pleased with service and atmosphere. You can actually have a conversation without shouting! Love the soups. Also pleased that they were willing to accommodate a dietary request. Food is always well prepared and served hot. I've ordered a variety of dishes over time and never been disappointed. Definitely would frequent more often if the price point were a bit lower, but, in general, they are in line with most other fine restaurants. I consider them a favoite and definitely recommend.“

“I had an amazing experience here! I love that it is a small family owned business. The owner, Nate, was the one taking my order! I came all the way from Chicago with my family. This was incredible. To find small local farmed chicken with this kind of hospitality is a true dream. We ordered the crispy chicken, spicy chicken sandwich, 1/2 chicken and all the sides. The buttermilk sauce with dill was dreamy. I need a pint to take home. Everything was cooked perfectly. The chicken was moist and well seasoned. “Picked up 3 pizzas for dinner here tonight (pepperoni, bacon, sausage). They even went out of their way to make sure there was no egg in the crust, even calling the distributor to make sure, because my daughter has a severe egg allergy. “Ukraft has been a live safer living downtown. Great place for a healthy early morning breakfast/smoothie. They are also one of the local restaurants partnered with One Cardinal Way apartments where they provide discounts to residents of the apartment building which is awesome. Definitely recommend, Ukraft is the best breakfast/lunch spot downtown!“

“A hidden gem of a sandwich shop. We are frequent visitors to St Louis and will be making this one of regular eateries. Not only was the food excellent, but the owner was so personable. Really enjoyed this place and will be eating here twice on this trip alone.“

“The food was great. We have been there many times and as always the food never fails. Our waitress was very attentive and extremely bubbly. The check-in process on the other hand was horrible. We called ahead to let them know we were on our way, clicked on the link they sent us when we arrived, also in person at the desk. The website said we were in position 1 for over a half hour as we watched group after group(varying sizes) go in before us. Even spoke with another family who was getting frustrated as they were in position 2 and also watched group after group go in. They finally went in after the grandfather and I started to get vocal about how it wasn't making sense as to why we were still waiting. We finally were seated about five minutes after them but not before a party of 2 that was there after us was seated. I'm not sure what happened but I was not happy with how it was handled.“

“At first we weren't sure we were at the right location, but then spotted the sign. Great little place, we got a chicken pita and gyro with drinks. Fast, tasty, friendly, and good prices. There was a nice sitting area outside which we were lucky to have perfect weather for.The chicken was moist, the pita was warm with a little crisp, they were generous with tomatoes and onions, and the sauce was pretty good. Altogether very tasty, would recommend that, and the gyro was similarly great. If you're hungry, you can opt for a big boy instead of the standard size, but this size was perfect for lunch for both myself and my husband.Parking: Parking was easy to find on Friday afternoon.“

They had lots of vegetarian options and the sandwiches were big enough to split for 2 meals. Dine in and take out options available. All indoor seating. Very reasonably priced too!If you cross Jefferson Avenue to explore the even livelier section of Cherokee Street, be sure to assume cars don't see you and they aren't going to stop for you LOL.
