“I was having trouble with the website and needed to place a big order for pickup later that day. I called the store, and placed the order for pickup at 4:45. We walked in a little before and they were cutting the last pizza. Everything was fresh, hot, and ready.“

“Was in the mood for tuna bowl or some sort of bowl that was healthy and we happened to be down the street the Honey Bee when this place came up and saw that I had 37 minutes to get there and get my bowl lol.This place is hidden in a corner and can't see it so you have to know where to look....I passed it once ‍But we walked in on a Saturday afternoon at 1:30. My daughter and I were planning on ordering and taking it to go since they close at 2. But, the lady(assuming owner) was inviting, didn't seemed bothered that we came in right before closing so we ordered our food to dine in.Daughter got their squid fried sticks and chicken tenders (she's 9 don't judge lol). She liked both of them and said were very good. I did try a bit of her chicken tenders and chicken was fresh not dried....wasn't expecting much for tendies but was impressed. I of course got the beef bulgogi with the egg on top. It was so good and extremely filling! We even ordered the chicken tenders at 1:47 at our food and was out by 2! I also over heard the lady literally taking a to go order with 5 minutes before closing. I love how accommodating and kind she was. The kinda service that makes me def want to come back and want to dry their other stuff. Def recommend giving it a try. It's nothing fancy.....food is served on to go containers, paper plates, plastic cups, etc. the chairs weigh a ton lol. But the food and service is top notch“

“There's a variety of fried chicken styles, and when it comes to New Orleans style, King Edward's is the best. Juicy, good flavor, and a lightly coated deeply golden brown skin, GBD!We liked the fried catfish, crab cake, gizzards, slaw, and those corn bites were especially yummy.Great service, ambience, prices, can't say enough. Go git ya sum.“

“I think we found a new favorite pizza place! Every time I walk past the fridge, I grab a piece of cold pizza from last night. The pizza is loaded with toppings and delicious! The service was amazing! It was our first time there and we were slow to order, but we were made to feel welcome and all of our questions were answered. They were extremely busy and the host made time to welcome us and make sure we were satisfied with our meal. We will be back when we are in the area!“

“Last night , I spent hours searching for the best restaurants in St Louis and I stumbled upon this one. The reviews were amazing and let me tell you, the reviews were correct. Everything was delicious and cooked to perfection. We tried the bulgogi and rice bowl, the charred wings, and cheese fries. We also tried a peach shot, they didn’t taste strong but the results were. I normally don’t visit a restaurant more than once but I’ll be a repeat customer anytime that I’m in town. I also loved the customer service. The woman taking my order was very cheery and made me feel welcomed. Many of the customers are repeat customers that were also talkative and welcoming. I’ve been to hundreds of restaurants and this one is definitely in my top 5.“

“We had such a great experience at Hodaks and will definitely be back! Our food was great. The service was quick and very friendly. We had two babies with us and multiple staff stopped to wave at them and make silly faces making us feel very welcome. The restaurant, including the bathroom, was spotless. Highly recommend!“

“Just went to Chuck's on South Kingshighway (old Courtesy Diner) near Tower Grove Park. So glad they are there. What great food and service. Had 3pc tenders (Level 3) and Chicken Sandwich (Level 2). Both were great; good flavor, crunchy breading, and juicy. I prefer my chicken on the spicier side, so I'd go with Level 3 from now on. Pickles added great flavor and crunch. They have other higher levels of heat, as well as a Zero Level for those that just want great fried chicken. Also had the seasoned fries, which were hot and crispy; green beans (very good and typical southern style with bacon and onions); and slaw which we also really enjoyed. Finally the service was fast and very customer friendly. I recommend giving it a try and I'll definitely be back.“

“Definitely coming back! I came here today for work to order for myself and my guys for the first time. The manager was very welcoming and introduced himself and advised me on food favorites and was very kind. He went above and behind my expectations! He even gave me a discount for my first time here ordering for my employees. “I do not have any pictures of our meal from this place , but this meal was as good as the last time we visited which was several years ago.. we shared some hot wings and salads. The wings here are great. The hot wing sauce definitely has the plastic buffalo sauce that I always want to taste. These are probably some of my favorite hot wings in the St. Louis area.The atmosphere is a good place to watch the blues game, or perhaps even soccer depending on the season. There's a large bar area in the center was several different rooms spanning out from that. We always sit in the front if possible. I don't know why, I just like it out there.Lots of parking around the building.“

My family loves Ethiopian food and this is simply some of the tastiest, clean, and freshest you'll have on the planet. My kids loved the fresh fries and njera bread. The hot wings were on point too! We went two days in a row and plan to come as often as possible. The menu has everything you can imagine, even pizza, both veggie, pepperoni, and lamb, if you like. Fresh carrot juice is available, as well as Ethiopia's legendary coffee, and spiced teas... We are grateful!“

“This spot did not disappoint! The portions are nice and filling. The food is FRESH and FLAVORFUL! If you want authentic Jamaican / Caribbean Soul Food this is the spot. I can’t say enough about how much I enjoyed my food…sweet plantains, rice and peas, and the Caribbean Rice Bowl. Worth the $ and drive from U-City to Cherokee!! My recommendation if you’ve never tried is to check their social media to confirm they’re open before making the drive. I missed them last week due to a catering event.“

“My daughter and I love playing pool and eating of course. We went there for lunch and a few games. The atmosphere was great. Music was perfect and the tables were smooth and clean. We went for lunch which I highly recommend! Huge servings as well.Parking: We had no problem as the parking lot is HUGE there.“

“Fried Shrimp was seasoned well and was hot! Hubby had plain wings and even though it's a seafood place, they were seasoned well and hot also. I will definitely be back, and even though our waitress was slow to get our entire order together, she was very sweet.“

“D’s Place is one of my favorite bars in Soulard. I come every Wednesday. Food is good, they have enough TV’s that any game worth watching can be put on at least one of the TV’s, and the drinks are always cold. Jess is a great bartender and server. “I typically placed my order through the app. Food always ready when I get there but I do usually have to repeatedly ask for hot sauce even though I check ketchup and hot sauce during the time I order. I stopped getting their Arnold Palmer-like drink because it is never right. Overall, Canes is always on my short list for fast food.“

“I don’t understand all the hate in the reviews, I guess it’s true that negative reviews are more prevalent. I took my family and the service was great. Food is very affordable. We got a pizza, 8 wings, a sandwich for one of the kids and drinks all for around $50. Earlier in the month I was debating ordering from imos and a large pizza and wings was over $70. This place is better than imos in every way. The pizza has a more crispy crust and has a good amount of sauce, which I prefer. Most chains put almost no sauce on their pizzas. I highly recommend. This will be our go to for pizza.“

“Stopped here in February of 2024, was seated and tended too fast and efficiently. They had a vast menu AND a special menu in place for catholic lenten foods ( very appreciated), we ended up getting fried pickles ( DELICIOUS) and then I got fish and chips. It came with a large amount of delicious sides and the filet itself was good. “I had the Box Combo. It was my first time there but multiple people have recommended them. I found the chicken a bit underseasoned. Didn't care for the sauce. Fries were just okay and coleslaw was not for me. The Texas toast was delicious, though!The price was right, and I enjoyed the restaurant's setup. The music choices were great (high-energy pop), but the music was pretty loud. I enjoyed it while eating alone but would have had to strain to hear over it.It's not my first choice but I'd eat here again.“

I ordered the goat meat with rice and had tea. It was so delicious!!! The rice portions are for two! The owner gave me so much rice that I could not finish in one sitting. “waited 15 minutes after being seated while wait staff just ignored us. we finally asked the hostess if we could place our order. a waiter came out finally, no apology for our wait. we placed.our order the he never came back. we waited 15 minutes after ordering and never got our beverages. it wasn't super crowded, only the patio was full. it's a shame because they do have good food but I will not be returning. Do not recommend if you ever want to eat. I have never walked out of a restaurant like that in my 42 years. it was terrible“

“When my siblings and i walked into McLain's for our annual siblings' night out last night, we were greeted by the bartender and multiple patrons as if we were all great friends. We've never felt more welcome. There's a digital juke box, a pool table , and a shuffle board. I could do without the indoor smoking, but luckily there were only a couple of smokers. What a great little neighborhood bar!“

“I have been a fans of Canes for a long time. The breaded tenders and canes sauce have always been a craving of mine since I discovered its culinary wonders. Sadly the large tenders have gotten smaller since my last time visiting a canes. I know it's not Stl Cane's fault.. it's a corporate thing.. but it was a little disappointing when the tenders were no longer the largest on the market.. but the price remained high.. I'm in foodservice.. and I know how hard the industry is struggling.. but if you drop the size of tenders and charge the same price.. that's a little sad.. I wouldn't mind paying more for the big tenders like I wanted when choosing canes.. I will return and hopefully this was just a one off.“

“The Hooters in South County is hands down the BEST Hooters in all of the Saint Louis area. Their wings are a great size. They aren't too small they always come out hot and extra wet just the way I like them. Their curly fries are crispy and have just the right amount of salt on them even though I always ask for extra on the side. The waitress are excellent and friendly. The management team will come through and ask how the food is. I've been to the other Hooters and the customer service is great their as well but the main thing that sticks out about the South County location is their food is always perfect to me.I've been to other locations and their food is just never on the same level. Their wings are too small and sometimes come out lukewarm. Even when asking for them to be extra wet they still look dry. The French fries taste like they have been under the warm for the longest time. I can definitely attest to this with the downtown location that just visited less than 3 weeks ago. I also will get this at times from the Maryland Heights location. The Saint Peters location does a pretty good job so I would rank them 2nd out of locations.But overall if you want some damn good wings, go to the South County location. It is definitely worth it. My favorite combo of sauces are the Mild sauce and Sweet Teriyaki sauce. Trust me it is amazing. Well done South County location.“

“I truly enjoyed my birthday dinner in the Private Dining Room! The servers Maurice and Devi were extremely accommodating, clean, understanding, and so kind! They have great energy and I loved the atmosphere. Although I must say that the singer they had at the front of the hotel, was kind, but her mic was too loud and she sang songs that weren't quite in her vocal range. That was off putting and we ended up having to close the doors, unfortunately. Other than that, we had a great time and will be back again!“

“I'm here on business and I go here just about every evening for dinner. I am diabetic so this place is a quick and easy choice for food that I can safely eat. I usually sit at the bar and I am served quickly and attentively by the staff. The person who served me today was very nice and attentive. I highly recommend this location.Especially if you just spent 10 min at the local Chilis being ignored by the waitresses there that would rather chitchat in the corner with their fellow waitresses rather than offer you a menu.“

“The chicken here is unmatched with their Cajun seasoning, they unfortunately forgot the biscuit in my meal as well as charged me extra for extra sauce and didn’t add it. It is what it is I just have to check in the future. I advise everyone else do the same.“

“I love the consistency of Pizza Hut! It doesn't matter where I go in the country, or what pizza I order, it is always good. Their pan pizza which was their original specialty is still top notch. Their pepperoni is the best among any of the national chains I have tried. I have noticed that the smaller the pizza, the better the pan crust is so I always recommend personal pan size to medium.“

“The double cheeseburger was fantastic The fries were good probably not enough fries for as big as the burger was but it was fantastic it was cooked great it tasted great a highly recommend it The nachos the chicken nachos we're also very good now I do not like anything spicy so I asked for no jalapenos and they did put jalapenos but they were on the side so I could remove those That's good it still had a little bit of a zip which is okay most people love a little bit of zip or jalapenos I highly recommend the chicken nachos they are very very very good and you could not have met a nicer person The service was fantastic they were absolutely happy to have the business and they made me feel like I was valued I really appreciate the service I got.“

“This is the best fried fish in Missouri. I cannot believe what I received when I ordered a twelve piece mixed fried fish for my family. Huge, perfectly seasoned, crispy filets of catfish, jack, and perch with a handful of crispy white onions , spicy sliced pickles, and a basket of seasoned fries. There was enough food for all five of us with a leftover plate that the kids sneaked bites from all night.“
