Been wanting the double burger grilled cheese sandwich so I thought I'd stop by. Have not been to a Sonic in probably 10 years. What a mistake. The food was horrible. I don't know how you make a burger tough but they did. The fries were cold, not cool, cold and they were HARD. There were 7 Tater tots in the other order, and they were room temp. I also got a chili dog which was no better. Nobody was at this place, no car in the lot and nobody waiting in line. Now know why.

I pulled into a parking spot to order and was told on the speaker I had to go through the drive thru. Which is odd for a fast food joint that is a drive in and a drive thru, so I pulled up to the drive thru where a girl was taking my order then there was a guy talking over her. After giving my order there were cars in front of me, so I couldn't pull forward the girl cam across the speaker asking me what I would like I explained I had given my order and couldn't move forward yet sorry.. couple minutes later she came across the speaker again asking what I would like. I explained again I hadn't moved yet. So I'm getting irritated at this point you obviously know the line hasn't moved for 18 minutes finally I move forward and still have a car ahead of us. So we have at this point set in line for 35 minutes and finally get to the window and get our stuff which takes another 7 minutes. Bam food is wrong drinks are wrong.. and to anyone who wonders well did I go back through the drive thru , No I did not go back through the drive thru I didn't have another 45 minutes to wait for "fast food"... ?

I specifically made a yelp account to post a review.. the employees didn't look clean at all and the girl who took my order was HIGHER THAN A KITE!! my kids kept asking me why was she falling asleep . They took 10 mins to give me my drinks that I ordered bc the girl kept falling asleep and forgot about me ... this all happened within 10 mins lol.I asked for a refund and NEVER AGAIN!

I would absolutely not even know about anything recently on food but a few times back it was just ok but last 2 times I have been here they could not even take my order.Absolutely the worst Sonic I have been too ever

Love coming to this location. This is actually convenient for me cause it's close to my house. I usually come here to get like a shake cause the shakes here are better than McDonald's. They got better employees and the atmosphere is better as well. All other locations are too far out. Too this location I want thank you for being the best

Went yesterday, just to stop and grab a drink. I parked in Car Hop and was told that they were only operating the drive through, cool. I then sit in the drive through for about 15ish minutes before pulling off because the line was not moving at all. Decided to go back a little later when the line had died down and I was passing by, it was around 6:30-6:45 I was addressed like this:“Are you here to pick up a door dash or food service delivery order?” To which I responded no, the employee proceeded to rudely say “Oh yeah, well then we’re closed.”So very disappointed in this location, the reviews over the years do not get better, hate to have to leave one reflecting years of bad experiences..

Ordered a double bacon cheeseburger and cheese sticks. Seems pretty difficult right? Got a cheeseburger and tatter tots. So paid for someone else to get a better meal I'm sure. I don't recommend going here go up the street to culvers spend a little more for a Texas roadhouse burger not much more expensive and you will wait 40 minutes for it but it will be hot frrsh and good unlike sonic.

I love Sonic and I have been to about 20 locations throughout the years and this has the medal for WORST ever! Stalls don't work, super slow even if u order on the app and so unfortunate since this is the one right by my house :(Stay away from this location if possible. Been here once and will now be back.
Came here last week, waited 15 minutes and a guy comes out and says he is the only one there and they have to close. Simultaneously, a guy comes over the speaker so there were at least two. As we were leaving without food, 4 kids were sitting and eating on their phones just hanging out. Ordered tonight on the app at 7:45. Got here at 8:00 and checked in, it's currently 8:40 and still waiting with a toddler.. totally unacceptable. I pressed the button and he says drive thru only but it never said that anywhere. The Franchise name should be taken away. Terrible service. If I hadn't already paid, I would leave. Finally went to the door. Blonde girl sitting on the floor on her phone while the older guy works on Everything. She is useless and I tell her she should help. She gives the excuse that she isn't a cook. Doesn't have a head set on or anything. Just sitting on her phone while the others work.

I stopped by after a long day at work to get a double stack cheeseburger. I arrived at 8:20 and closing time is 9. I was told they were done taking orders for the night. This is the second time since i moved to O'Fallon a few months ago that this has happened. Unacceptable!

Chilli Dog was delicious but the tots could have been hot. Outside is needed to be picked up but it did look like someone was there cleaning the parking lot.

Made an order on the app then promptly drove to the store. Checked in and waited an hour until someone else who was waiting got out of his car and walked in the front door. When entering, nobody was in the front.. they were in the back. 2 car loads of teenagers were walking out of the back apparently smoking weed and telling people the place was closed. It was 8 o'clock. I seen a door dasher circling the building. I communicated to him I've waited over an hour and the kids were in the back smoking weed.. then 5 kids all came out and started walking towards our cars. We both left immediately.
