“I'm in a senior bowling league just down the road at Olivette Bowl. Every Wednesday I stop by McD's and drive through to get a hamburger and a "senior" drink before I bowl. It's a tasty, quick $2 lunch, and I admit, I'm a hamburger addict. I'll continue to go there for my little lunch time treat.“

“Five starts in every way! Adorable space, impeccable service, and delightful food and drink! I brought a friend and two older adults. We each had something different--biscuits and gravy, the stuffed French toast, and a burger. Everyone loved everything. We also had drinks. I love my gin and tonic and the black pepper and? “Awesome place. Love the ambiance and decor. Came in for burgers last night and we weren't disappointed. The bar was rocking! To start, buffalo chicken dip and Fritos were a large portion for 2. Dip comes cold and was loaded with chicken. Super good. Felt like I was at a Super Bowl party- heck yeah. For entrees we got the melt with rosemary fries and the bacon jam burger with sweet potato fries. Both came out in record time, I'm not joking maybe 5-10 minutes from when we ordered. Best service ever. Both burgers were killer. Fresh, large portions, tons of flavor. The fries were both excellent as well- love the rosemary on the regular fries. The garlic aioli that the sweet potato fries come with is delicious. All around 10/10! Didn't try the drinks this time, but have heard good things so definitely will be back!“

“I work in Hazelwood and this place was highly recommended by our team. This is my first time here and I had a late lunch. I liked the atmosphere, the staff was pleasant, and the menu had a lot of choices. I picked an option recommended by the server. It came hot and tasted great. “Love the Malt Shop and thrilled they have opened for the season! A simple hometown kind of burger and ice cream stand, they serve up a fantastic orange freeze, root beer floats, concretes, sundaes, shakes and tasty apps and burgers. “The food was below par but everything else was great. I got a table right away and was served by Kaitlyn. If you are able to request being in her section, do it! I was never worried about waiting to oder and when I did, my drink came very soon after. I got the garlic French dip and I think it's over priced for how little good lean meat you get. A few bites had too chewy of fat. Half of the homemade chips were crispy so that was nice, but I would've loved every chip to be able to break in half and not bend.Still, you should go and give this place a shot!“

East of Broadway has been a mix of mostly industrial and some residential properties for many years. Riverside Diner is on the corner. We went in early and saw lots of people, yet a few open booths. We got one and saw people at the bar watching Cheers. It was an appropriate opening, because there were lots of people coming in and out, and yes, they did know their names. We ordered the 2x2x2x2 special with French toast (usually comes with pancakes) and a South Side slinger. While I was remiss and did not get a full photo of my husband's 2x2x2x2, I did get one of my slinger and taste his French toast. Everything was well prepared and my slinger with sourdough toast was a stellar representation of this classic dish. Would highly recommend them.“
