“There's a variety of fried chicken styles, and when it comes to New Orleans style, King Edward's is the best. Juicy, good flavor, and a lightly coated deeply golden brown skin, GBD!We liked the fried catfish, crab cake, gizzards, slaw, and those corn bites were especially yummy.Great service, ambience, prices, can't say enough. “I think we found a new favorite pizza place! Every time I walk past the fridge, I grab a piece of cold pizza from last night. The pizza is loaded with toppings and delicious! The service was amazing! It was our first time there and we were slow to order, but we were made to feel welcome and all of our questions were answered. “Last night , I spent hours searching for the best restaurants in St Louis and I stumbled upon this one. The reviews were amazing and let me tell you, the reviews were correct. Everything was delicious and cooked to perfection. We tried the bulgogi and rice bowl, the charred wings, and cheese fries. We also tried a peach shot, they didn’t taste strong but the results were. I normally don’t visit a restaurant more than once but I’ll be a repeat customer anytime that I’m in town. I also loved the customer service. The woman taking my order was very cheery and made me feel welcomed. Many of the customers are repeat customers that were also talkative and welcoming. I’ve been to hundreds of restaurants and this one is definitely in my top 5.“

“Turkey ribs were awesome. First time having them, great with sauce or without. Smoke was excellent. Potato salad was like my grandmas. I didn’t get the turkey tips because they were out, I assume that means those are good too. This is a humble smokehouse with good people. Highly recommend.“

“Just went to Chuck's on South Kingshighway (old Courtesy Diner) near Tower Grove Park. So glad they are there. What great food and service. Had 3pc tenders (Level 3) and Chicken Sandwich (Level 2). Both were great; good flavor, crunchy breading, and juicy. I prefer my chicken on the spicier side, so I'd go with Level 3 from now on. Pickles added great flavor and crunch. They have other higher levels of heat, as well as a Zero Level for those that just want great fried chicken. Also had the seasoned fries, which were hot and crispy; green beans (very good and typical southern style with bacon and onions); and slaw which we also really enjoyed. Finally the service was fast and very customer friendly. I recommend giving it a try and I'll definitely be back.“

He even gave me a discount for my first time here ordering for my employees. “I stopped in here during Lent. I went to the location on Manchester. It is a modest sized store, and most people are getting take out rather than eating in. I got the friend catfish and shrimp with a side of mac & cheese. There was a steady stream of customers over lunch. I waited maybe ten minutes total for my food which was reasonable given the crowd. Both the catfish and the shimp was great. The breading was right in the sweet spot of not being too thick or two thin. I grew up eating catfish and it is just one of those things you love or not. The way it was prepare here was just fantastic. The mac & cheese was okay, but next time I'll probably just get the fries. I look forward to trying out the chicken wings some other time as they were the main order I saw other customers getting.“

We had the shrimp, mushrooms and gizzards. A large lamb gyro salad. I would just separate the hot meat in foil next time, wrap cold condiments in foil or separate. “I typically placed my order through the app. Food always ready when I get there but I do usually have to repeatedly ask for hot sauce even though I check ketchup and hot sauce during the time I order. “I have been a fans of Canes for a long time. The breaded tenders and canes sauce have always been a craving of mine since I discovered its culinary wonders. Sadly the large tenders have gotten smaller since my last time visiting a canes. I know it's not Stl Cane's fault.. it's a corporate thing.. but it was a little disappointing when the tenders were no longer the largest on the market.. but the price remained high.. I'm in foodservice.. and I know how hard the industry is struggling.. but if you drop the size of tenders and charge the same price.. that's a little sad.. I wouldn't mind paying more for the big tenders like I wanted when choosing canes.. I will return and hopefully this was just a one off.“

We walked in and the young lady cashiering helped us decide cuz the menu has options from breakfast to dinner! We went with the turkey sausage omelette which came with a hashbrown and 3 pieces of toast....it took about 20mins for the food to be ready and another 15min to get home-i wasn't sure if my hashbrown and toast would be soggy, but lemme tell u it was still crispy and hot!! We didn't need to add any salt or pepper and the veggies were fresh too. I gotta go back for that tripe and some wings tho“
