“Big thank you to Ariake for hostingy bday party!! I was contacted several times before my event to get a headcount, make sure the table was set up the way I wanted, etc. The big room had a fireplace and they were very accommodating to our huge group of 20 (and 20 very picky/high maintenance people! Lol!). Food came out very quick considering our group size, and the wait staff even cut up our cake and served it for us. Every single person at the table said it was one of the best meals they had ever eaten. No complaints whatsoever! Huge shoutout to Logan who was our main server for the night. He was such a delight and made the party more fun! Highly recommend having your event at Ariake!“
“Omg this place is amazing! The ambiance was great, my server Jose was awesome and Burt was ver friendly. I got their firecracker shrimp as an appetizer, those bad boys were sooo good! Very fresh and well seasoned and the sauce complimented the dish. I just wanted something simple and not so heavy, so I ordered their catfish and shrimp meal, with fries and coleslaw. Their catfish was in my opinion the best tasting catfish I’ve had. I just recently started eating catfish and noticed that theirs was very clean tasting and fresh. The fries were nice and hot, well seasoned and their coleslaw was delicious and crisp. Their prices are also very reasonable. This is definitely my go to spot when I’m in Springfield. I’m going to go there again for dinner. Very highly recommended!!“
“I can't complain our food was fantastic, service was superb. You don't have to hunt down your server for refills. Most of the time they sneak in and drop off a fresh drink without saying a word. I had ask my husband do you think the chef has a Michelin star? The food was that phenomenal!!“

“WOW! We stopped here by chance on a road trip not knowing what to expect. This is an amazing place! The staff is top-notch, from the servers to kitchen staff, on a busy Saturday night they had our food cooked perfectly and out in a timely manner. Prices were better than expected and food was excellent - seafood boils, gator bites, po boys and oysters were delicious! Can't wait to visit the area again so we can come back!“

“We are very picky about crab legs, my husband especially!! This place did not let us down. When we went, they had a $50 all you can eat special (my husband got). They did have specific rules you had to follow (no wasting, 1 hour limit). The food was soooo good and the service was fantastic. I gave 4/5 stars on the atmosphere because it is pretty small location, definitely difficult to deal with if you have a larger party. Pictured is the $40 plate. “I'm from the Mississippi Gulf Coast, just 30 minutes east of New Orleans.I have moved around since hurricane Katrina. (not my choice)I'm now in Nixa, MO and I have been wanting some Catfish. I found this place here in Nixa called S.S. Dockside Grill and Pub. I've tried other places here but I have to say it is really good. I had the Catfish plate w/slaw and fries. Great!❤️I also had the fried pickle chips w/remoulade sauce.Hummm. All was very good. I was born and raised on the Mississippi Gulf Coast and it was pretty good considering it's not on the gulf coast.I give it a 5 ⭐ star rating.Thank you S.S. “This may be the most underrated joint around. The bread on their sandwiches is world-class. They have an impressive menu offering of deli style sub sandwiches that rival the best in the business. They also make an outstanding hamburger. Do not expect a round bun because they put it on their amazing French style bread. They are traditionally made on a bit of onions and served up juicy at hot to order. It reminds me of an Oklahoma burger or a smash burger, but this thing seems to have some additional spices that make it pop. Many people do not realize that big Al's owns the right to sell the dole pineapple whip. That's the stuff at Disney. This is the only place around here that you can get it, and it's worth the drive. Big Al, being the entrepreneur that he is, has also added the Crabshack business to the Nixa location. I must admit, it's not a fancy joint, but it may be the best crab and shrimp meal. I have ever eaten at any price. I also feel good about supporting big Al because he has a big supporter of the community, the schools, and our first responders. there is even a community donation box and a code program on his property. I just think it's extra special supporting local businesses, and this one gets it right.“
“I had reservations on 3/22 at 745pm for my boyfriend's birthday. I had put that it was in the notes for our reservation. I was hoping they would have brought him a special desert but they did not. I wanted it to be a surprise, and would have happily paid for it. I also requested the lounge, which I'm not positive that is where we were seated. I thought the lounge would be close to the bar. The food was amazing! Our server was also great!“
“Best service & food I’ve found in the Springfield area. My grandson ordered a dish he didn’t like. The food was good but he’s a young child. When the waiter noticed he wasn’t eating he asked if he’d like something else. We did get a different plate & was surprised to see they did not charge us for the one he didn’t eat! There was nothing wrong with the food… it was delicious… just a 5 year old changing his mind. I insisted on paying but they refused so I just left a bigger tip because, as always, the food & service were outstanding“
“Hubris is just the folly of the lesser man as Colton's Steakhouse does everything and more. Divine steaks at divine prices. Crisp, fresh salads and wonderous sides. Lovely country atmosphere without the gaudiness of lesser steakhouses. Those who believe our God is cruel are simply incorrect, as what cruel creator would allow us to possess Colton's Steakhouse at select Missouri locations.“
“I love eating crab and now I don’t get the chance as much since my husband doesn’t eat seafood and my daughter moved. My daughter took me here the first time and I fell in love with it! Now she rubs it in my face every time she goes. The crab boil is absolutely delicious! I have only tried the Cajun and Old Bay Butter flavors, both with mild heat cause I like to keep my taste buds. The service has always been great and welcoming. You have the good restaurant atmosphere, not smothering, and can actually enjoy having a conversation with others at the table without having to scream so they can hear you. Great food, service and atmosphere! Love it!“
“I've always been a fan of Captain D's. While I think it's more expensive than other fast food. Then again, it's not the same as a burger and fries, is it? The service was fast and friendly. “Not sure why people rate tbis place low. The food is good, service was greaat and fast. Went on xmas day, they were steady, but not overly busy. I got weat coast benedict, my family got a standard eggs/bacon bfast, biscuits and gravy, a wAffle and the turkey dinner. The rolls and buscuits were really good. The ropls and pancakes were light and not dense. Our waitress wa super nice and friendly. I would recommend trying it.“
“I stopped through the drive thru on my home tonight and had just amazing service. I ordered my meal in a wonky way and they changed it to save me some money which is so greatly appreciated. It's nice having a place care about helping their customers and because of that alone, I will return more frequently. One simple gesture helped increase income later on as this isn't a place a frequent regularly, but will from now. Also while I waited, I saw a sign on the window that says they donate their leftover food and have provided 88 million meals instead of just throwing it in the garbage. Good job guys. I applaud you. ?“
