I have experienced many fine dining meals across the world and I can say that the chef here is in my opinion the finest in the city. The aroma of the entire restaurant is excellent and nothing falls short. This is my top recommendation in Kansas City.
5 star experience from beginning to end! The food was delicious, and the atmosphere/staff was very welcoming and easy going (which can be rare with upscale restaurants). Definitely not pretentious at all. Our party of 5 got there for our 7pm reservation and we finally headed out the door around 10:30 not realizing we'd been there for 3.5 hrs!
