“I just want to say I came in to Denny's a ray town. Miss Annie took me took care of us. Was really nice. She was sweet and I'll tell you. One thing, I will come back to see her. She is a really lovely lady. And a honest lady too. Thank you, miss Annie. Have a wonderful week.“
“The sausage gravy here is amazing! I could drink it lol I had biscuits and gravy and it was amazing. I also love the potatoes. The pancakes melt in your mouth they were great. And my husband really liked the free cinnamon rolls. I'm from Texas and was just visiting but when I come back to Kansas city I'll definitely be “
“One the best breakfast spots in KC! The pancakes were delicious, and my veggie omelet was stuffed and topped with melted American cheese. The atmosphere was friendly, and the staff were all welcoming. The family history of this place is awesome too!! Be sure to get here if you're ever in KC!!“
“Went to city diner to have brunch and walk through vintage market days in city market across the street. The location of the diner is perfect for a weekend brunch and city market combo! The food is very good and it's a cute small diner the kind of place you would see an old man in suspenders at the breakfast bar! The menu isn't large but very good food and good service!“
“Literally one of the best burger spots in all of Kansas City. The owner Jim is one of the nicest & generous owners I've ever come across. Strongly recommend this spot for all my burger lovers. I promise you won't be able to finish it :)“
“i have a friend that is a breakfast burrito aficionado; he will drive from the Northland to Edwardsville on his days off just to enjoy what he considers the best Burrito de Desayuno. His workday ritual has been a daily stop at the Lunchbox in the West Bottoms, until recently when he discovered Burritos To Go on 7th St. So I had to see what the deal was.The place is a literal hole-in-the-wall, squeezed into a small storefront. You may enter, but more than 2 at a time may get the fire marshall called. The layout is not only cramped, but awkward. Just as awkward is the lady serving and cooking. When I asked if she accepted credit cards, I was given the eye squint and a blunt "of course". For what is lacking in decor and decorum the burritos make up for it. I ordered a combo pork/steak with rice. Smallish but priced right and stuffed with tender juicy meat. She may be terse, but she's quick. A grilled tortilla, stuffed, rolled, bagged and rang-up in about 90 seconds..Will I return? --squints eyes..."Of Course".“
“Really noticeable that management has changed here! Been in last 2 Saturday mornings and the service is top notch. You can see one of the managers in kitchen directing the cooks and making sure the food gets made right and another manager helping checking on tables and even helping clean tables!! Very noticeable change and is for sure looking good for dennys in general! Will recommend this location from here on out!“
“Denny's is Denny's. You know what you will be getting and it's always good.Stopped in for breakfast on a Sunday morning and the place was packed! I was seated quickly; my food came promptly and was tasty and hot. I was so pleased that I left a 30% tip!“
“Wow, this place is a great little spot! We went on Easter and it was good service, good food, and clean. We met the owner Brandon and he was pleasant, professional, and personable. The staff were very attentive and kind. Thank you so much for serving us, Christian! We look forward to our next visit!“
