“This was my first time ever going to a gluten free bakery, and I loved knowing I could eat anything there without worry! I’ve tried the cupcakes, croissants, and donut holes, and they were all delicious! The croissants are especially to die for, they’re so buttery and soft! I will definitely be returning.”
“Our first time to this hidden gem. Beer is unique, interesting & delicious. Food was great! We had the Cuban Panini & Chicken & Wild Rice Soup. Great music & atmosphere too! I highly recommend you check it out!!”
“Cute homie feel when you first arrive and the staff is so welcoming! I had the lunch combo and the beans and rice were so scrumptious. Their tacos are my favorite, so good and flavorful! I definitely recommend this quaint little restaurant...they might be small but mighty in their food, atmosphere and service...”
“If you like local neighborhood bars, check this place out in Raytown, MO!! Great food, great prices and most of all, great people! Just had a fantastic afternoon when we came to town for a concert.”
“Friday nights are $1 wing nights at Taste of love LLC . The food was amazing! Below were 12 whole wings in garlic sauce. We also had the catfish, fries and potato salad. All of the food was amazing. Would recommend!!!”
“The food is really good but I think it’s wild to serve a chicken breast on bun with no fixings. No sauce, lettuce, tomato or onion. Literally just bread and chicken. Maybe I should have specified but seems pretty straight forward”
“Ok Jared’s Place, aka Tom & Jared’s, aka The Silver Fox!!! What can I say - good drinks, karaoke Wednesday’s, and bar food with someone in the back that actually cares!!!!! Best place to unwind after work! Ask for Trish!!! Best bar-tender ever!!!!!! After 9 might surprise you!!! Operation Cloud Nine!!!”
“Love this spot! Salsas and sauces are house made and taste beautiful. Their fried potatoes were great! Which is a struggle to find. I got the fajita burrito but added eggs and potatoes,, every bite I had to close my eyes. Some powerful home cooking. So happy. Bless the chef!Vegetarian options: Plenty of substitutes, and do have impossible burgers!”
“This is my go to Chinese place in Raytown. Food is consistently delicious. My favorite is the Empress Chicken. Their crab ragoons and egg drop soup are also amazing. The staff are always super friendly. They also get a bonus for having a drive through! The other day we had a large order for about 7 people and it went so smoothly. Nothing was missing from our order and everyone enjoyed what they got.”
“I visited recently on a Friday night, where they were quite busy. The chips and drinks were prompt, copious, and crunchy. Even though they were busy. I ordered the Tacos de Carne Asada. They came with the green chile sauce that was quite nice. And they gave you quite a bit of meat and they weren’t overloaded with toppings. Was it mind blowing? No, however, was the seasoned nice and was it worth the $12.99, sure. We were charged appropriately, and the waiter took good care of us, so would I go back? Sure.”
“The place was cool, very hip and chill. They have great taste in music too. But the presentation of the food, 10/10. It was neat and adorned with a fragrant rosemary leaf. The food itself was fresh and hot off the stove. Can’t wait to come back to try more”
“I've been going to Carlitos for probably 20yrs. Locally owned small business!I currently work with a couple of their past employees and they've never told me a bad story about people doing things to the food to the people that come in rude, or people they don't like. They've told me about how they would clean thoroughly every night when it was time to close, and how every morning they would make the salsa, cook the meat, etc. They inherently took pride in their work and the same could be said about everyone that has worked there and/or still does.Always polite, always helpful and patient with me when I don't quite know what it is I want to get that day. They're even happy to bring the food to the table! The food is good, too. They'll never score points for fancy plates and silverware, but that's not even necessary. The food itself is really good!I'd suggest the chicken taco salad and an order of cinnamon crisps. Be prepared to wear cinnamon and sugar!10/10 would recommend. 3 out of 5 stars. Wouldn't change a thing. #HailNimrod”
“Great place to visit. I was in KC on business from Arkansas and everyone made me feel welcome. Met several nice people here. Bartenders were excellent and very nice to look at!!! Talked to a nice guy that I believe was the manager. Will definitely go back the next time I'm in town!”
“Los compas is my weekly go to, very welcoming and friendly atmosphere with delicious food. Lunch menu is a plus. The #1 is a delight. Nachos and salsa are complimentary, sauce is a must have.”
“Very friendly strip mall restaurant, but very clean and efficient. 2 people preparing orders in full view so you see the quality of the items. Service is quick and the food was excellent. It is juicy and tender and reasonably priced. Drove down from Omaha for a day and wanted to try a new place. My son picked it on the drive and we will be back!”
