Jeanie's Restaurant serves a mixed bag of experiences. While some dishes, like the food ordered by one reviewer's daughter and son-in-law, are good, others, like the hot beef sandwich, can be disappointing and lacking in portion size. The service can be great, but sometimes lacking, with guests having to seat themselves and wait for refills on drinks. The atmosphere can be a drawback, with lingering smoke from the smoking room and, in some areas, unpleasant odors. Despite this, the fresh food and cooking might be worth another try, pending improvements in service.
