“Have eaten at this place many times, but have never reviewed. Food is some of the best in town and super fast service; especially if you order ahead. Just had one of their bubble teas and it was amazing. Only downside of this place is parking can be tricky depending on time of day. This will always be a go to for me and my family.”

“Oh my gosh when I tell you I have had the best times here I mean it!! I always get the loaded potato waves and an oreo shake. The waves are crispy, cheesy, and make me feel a different type way. Applebee's of Rolla MO has the best server I have ever had!! Emily was so easy to get along with and prioritized not just getting food to the table, but connecting with the table. “The roast beef is always amazing and warm! I'd nitpick on the fries, every time I have been there it's a hit or miss on getting fresh fries. Majority of the time mine get cold before eating and a lot of the curly fries are over cooked. The Jamocha shake could use an update, it tastes more like vanilla with a hint of chocolate and very little coffee taste.”

“The food we ordered are cooked in authentic Chinese way. 回锅肉和酸辣白菜all taste very good. The egg drop soup is also nicely made. The rice they cooked is not too hard nor too soft, just as good as what I expected. The portions are generous. We two can not finish two dishes , have to pack half of the 回锅肉。I will rate it 5 star if the place is newer.”

“Four of my friends and I stopped at “A Slice of Pie” for lunch on our way to Kimmswick for the Christmas Cookie Walk. I had eaten there with my daughter, about ten years ago, which is WAY too long. I used to buy their ‘Take and Bake’ Pies at Harter House, but my local store no longer carries them. They’ve always been good. Why did it take me so long to come back? I’m usually traveling with my husband and he prefers BBQ or a burger when we’re traveling. I’m glad I mentioned it Saturday, when we were looking for a place to eat lunch! We all loved it so much that we ate there again the next day, on our way home. Between us, we tried both kinds of Chicken Pot Pie (Traditional and Mushroom), the Chicken Salad on Croissant, the Tomato Soup, and the Bacon Quiche. Each entree was served with two hot rolls. I didn’t have room for the rolls, but those who did said they were good. Dessert? You may have to take it with you, but they’re packaged well. The quiche reheats well in the microwave. Those who tried it said it was the best quiche ever, and ordered it again the second day, so I took a piece home to try. I haven’t tried my Cherry Raspberry yet, but the others said the Coconut Cream (whipped cream) and Custard were wonderful. I did try one of his cinnamon/sugar pie crust cookies. They tasted just like my mama used to make. He said he’s planning to sell those at the Harter House Stores in the Springfield area, so I’ll be looking for them. He’s also bringing a truck to Harter House in Springfield on Eastgate, occasionally, so I’ll be watching their Facebook Page so I can buy a piece of pie without going to Rolla. Good pie crust makes a pie, and luckily, you can find them in the freezer case at Harter House and Price Cutter Stores. Look for “Mickey’s Pie Crust”, ready to put in the oven and bake.”

“The best Roadhouse-Style restaurant we have ever ate at! The rolls we perfect! The drinks were just right, the syrup and carbonation mix.. the coke was perfect! The steaks were excellent! It was nice to get a medium-rare steak that wasn't overcooked! Lastly, Zachary was awesome! Kept the drinks and rolls coming, told us about 1/2 off appetizers, and all around was on point!
