Gyros isn't on many menus in Missouri. And finding tasty gyros is even more rare. So when I saw it on Penelope's in menu in Rolla I cautiously ordered their gyros sandwich with tzatziki sauce.What was served to me was a delicious shock. The gyros meet was seasoned really well with garlic and pepper. The juicy meat shared the supple pita bread with amazing tzatziki sauce and its bright flavor. I've been here twice now. The eggs and hash browns were delicious. My sis and I split a chocolate chip pancake (such a treat). There was a sign on the door stating that they're short staffed. I felt that considering how busy it was, our server was friendly and fast. And the coffee was decent. I am glad I tried it out and will be back!
