Stood at the front for a long time as a bartender and cook stared at me. I began wonder if 6:15pm on a Saturday was too close to closing for them to seat me. One of them came and sat me. The food was not very good. The red sauce was plain and no discernible flavor. The combo didn’t have much cheese or anything other than weird tasting hamburger that tasted like they bought it from Taco Bell. Server was only seen once during the meal so refills on the drink weren’t going to happen. Very disappointing

Overall, good food and OK service for the prices. The margarita that I ordered was just OK. We dined on a Saturday night, and it was semi- busy. We didn't have to wait to be seated. Prices were average, but the food quality was just average too. And, the service was also just average. No big complaints and no big compliments--the whole.experience was just average. We did not have a visit to our table for about 15 to 20 during the middle of our dinner. Overall, it was good, or average but not excellent. The rating professor gives El Jimador a B.

From Texas and got the Chimmi to compare to Texas Tex-Mex. It was good, but the meat was lacking flavor. They did have chips on the table for free that is customary in Texas. Heard that outside the state it is not. As a joke I said "the cats in Missouri are not as good as in Texas".

I give them five stars only cause their food and margaritas r amazing other than that I don’t think it’s right that they go in and change their tip amounts when people pay with a card I like to leave cash tips and I do every time and they still go in and add more tip to the card this is not right and I will make sure I never use a card here again. That’s just greedy and they do t come to the table but once or so to make sure your good if it wasn’t for the amazing food I wouldn’t go back for real but I do love the food and margaritas. Staff and wanting to extra tip their self though no like you have to get up and get your own Togo boxes and will be lucky if you get refills how is that worthy of tipping your self more than what you deserve
