“Upon arrival during Dinner . We were greeted by 2 people. Very pleasant and friendly. Seated immediately. We had 5 adults. Server was very knowledgeable and answered any questions we had. He had waters at the table within 1 min of seating. When we ordered drinks. The rest of the table ordered soda. I ordered unsweetened tea. He tried to steer me away from the “unusual” tasting tea. I said it was ok as I don’t drink sodas . He was right ? I drank it anyway.Ordered 5 appetizersRueben Rolls - most excellent taste just like a RuebenScottish eggs - unique flavor. Very crispy outside and the sauce made it even betterPanko Fried shrimp - can’t go wrong with perfectly cooked shrimpTriple dip - This was good. But could’ve been better . Queso was on point. Salsa was good. Was wanting more spice tho. Guacamole was my only disappointment. No salt or spice and had a very distinct lemon/orLime taste.Fried pickles Breaded fried pickles - so good . Im not a fan of the sandwich style pickles for fried . However these were top notch.Entrees includedAlfredo Mac with Shrimp x2 - So creamy and tender shrimp . - Huge PortionsPub Mac - The best Mac I’ve ever tasted . You can taste all the different kinds of cheese. Pasta perfectly cooked and enough to take home and enjoy later .Fish n Chips . This place Fried Cod rivals the best around. In a beer battered fish n chips competition. Hands down this would win. I love my fish. The show string fries are on fire. Perfectly seasoned and delicious. Slaw was slaw (not a fan of slaw) but was delicious, not too much dressing and not dry.El Dublin chicken and Chorizo with the house made queso . OMG . Served with tortillas.Overall the food is very well prepared . Service was top notch. He went above and beyond every step of the way.This place was packed and he never missed a beat.The young adults ordered soda floats for dessert. Very interesting combinations .Chocolate ice cream and Dr PepperCookies n cream with cherry cokeVanilla and cherry coke .We will be back. On top of everything. “Found this spot on google! First time in Missouri, never the less Springfield!!! was greeted by a long haired guy that looked like he needed a Valium. They were busy! I was quickly seated at the bar top and greeted once again by Ian the bartender. He was legit. Friendly and very knowledgeable of the town. He surpise ordered for me and the chorrizo tacos were unreal. This spot is a hidden gem. Go see Ian. Tell him Drew sent ya!“
“The DOP is definitely a 5 stars experience. Been here a few times and it's always a good vibe. My first visit there was a live band that did not disappoint. Went there another time had karaoke that had no restrictions on what can be sung (unlike other popular karaoke joints). The complimentary billiards is also major plus to the great experience. The bartenders and servers are always on their A game making sure everyone's satisfied.“

“Well, I don't know if it is the crowd we happened to walk into, or the place itself, but we had the best night ever here last night. I can't say anything wildly amazing happened, everyone was just so nice and fun! Typically when you walk into a "locals" bar you can feel heads turn, it wasn't the case here. We ran the jukebox with crowd favorites, played connect four, and had an awesome time. Check this place out, they have a huge craft beer selection and an interesting vibe!!“

“This little out of the way place was close to the hotel we stayed in so we walked to it and it was well worth the walk. I had the bacon cheeseburger with mushrooms and it's the best hamburger I've had in a very long time. We were seated immediately and service was wonderful, friendly and efficient. Definitely recommend this“
“I'm from the Mississippi Gulf Coast, just 30 minutes east of New Orleans.I have moved around since hurricane Katrina. (not my choice)I'm now in Nixa, MO and I have been wanting some Catfish. I found this place here in Nixa called S.S. Dockside Grill and Pub. I've tried other places here but I have to say it is really good. I had the Catfish plate w/slaw and fries. Great!❤️I also had the fried pickle chips w/remoulade sauce.Hummm. All was very good. I was born and raised on the Mississippi Gulf Coast and it was pretty good considering it's not on the gulf coast.I give it a 5 ⭐ star rating.Thank you S.S. “My family and I just had the BEST dinner at Jimm’s last night! I made a reservation earlier in the week for my son’s 18th birthday. Whenever I made the reservation, the staff said “if you have a cake or special decorations for your table, just bring them in and we will be happy to set that up for you…” I dropped those things off in the afternoon and didn’t think too much about it. Whenever we got there for our reservation, we had a small side room to ourselves, the table was decorated perfectly with the birthday stuff I provided. Our service and food was outstanding! At the end of the meal, our cake was brought out, candles lit, then cut and served at our table! I was so impressed with the level of service! It made our night extra special! Highly, highly recommend Jimms!“
