Tried this place for a 2nd time. First time around I gave it a 1 star. Lack of menu items and bad service . This time wasBetter .We had the Ribs , tender and flavorful , macN cheese . Macaroni was mushy but good flavor . Brisket was moist and tender . Tater salad was bland and such LARGE potatoes that it was difficult to eat. Slaw was pretty standard. Baked beans are flavorful and THICKAlso had the salmon sandwich. Tender flakey fish. With soft bun. (Needs lettuce or tomato or other vegetables) also needs a sauce of some sort . no one offered and I didn’t ask . Fries were fresh cut and hot with just the right amount of salt . Last item we tried was the brisket cheese steak sandwich. Was NOT on the menu but I asked and they made it. Flavor and cheesy soft warm roll. Needed more grilled veggies. And we tried the smoked cheesy corn. That was the best corn I’ve ever eaten .They did have multiple bbq and other sauces by the drink station. Tried all of them. All were delicious. Only problem was there were 2 pumps that didn’t work. So we just pulled the top off and dunked our sauce cups in .It was a lot better experience this time vs a few years ago

First time eating here, I have been told by several people that if you enjoy BBQ, then you have to try this place! We were in town from Little Rock for an event, so of course, we made the drive to see what it was all about! I was not disappointed at all! Food was spot on and plenty of it! Service was great, super friendly, and fun.

I love the food and the service is great but they just added a bar to one side of it. It's fine but given the size of the place it kind of makes it feel more like a bar now than a food place. It's still family friendly enough but will probably be me likely to get my food to go when I am with my kids.

I wanted to see if the Springfield location was as good as the St. Louis location. In a word... yes! I had the turkey and brisket with fries, and they were delicious. The physical location on Republic Road is a little off the beaten path, but the food makes the search worthwhile.

We went to Sugarfire in December for lunch with family. As a BBQ lover from KC, I know great BBQ when we try it. We ordered the Brisket sandwich and pulled pork sandwich. The brisket was done perfectly, a shout out to Robin for his excellence in prepping the meats. The prices were right on target for this BBQ. I've had more expensive BBQ in KC so this was a great value. The only reason they didn't get a five is the temperature in the dining room, it was way too cold and took away from the experience. Management needs to make sure the dining room is warm. I recommend this BBQ to anyone any day of the week and most certainly will go back when I'm in town.

Downright delicious. Loved every aspect of this place. From fun atmosphere, to friendly service, to delicious food. This place has it going on. Loved the pulled chicken and the hubs liked his ribs. Great sides like fresh salad, green beans, and Mac’ cheese round out the meal. Beer available in cans and there is a #militarydiscount. Come try it!

The food is always very good, and the staff is always very nice and polite. The atmosphere is nice and they have great patio seating.

The food is delicious. Our favorite sauce is the white BBQ and the coffee BBQ. Family of 4 cost us $38. Still had a small box of left overs. Pulled pork was delicious, mac n cheese, fries and Coleslaw were awesome. Good value for the amount of food. Great flavorWe will be back.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly sides.

I like that they serve bbq but so much more! Today I had the No Refunds Chicken sandwich and some Mac and cheese. Loved the hot sauce! Chicken could have used another minute in the fryer but overall the sandwich was good. They have several home made sauces, I really enjoy their Alabama White and Texas Hot!! Especially the latter!! I also like they feature local beers and have a patio for warm weather!!

Words can't describe the mind-blowing experience that was the chicken biscuit. The tantalizing deliciousness was so much more than I expected. With their unique fountain drinks, eclectic decor, and BBQ sauce bar, there is something to leave everyone in your family saying "how cool!" or "awesome!". Don't miss out on this awesome restaurant!

I went to Sugarfire when they first opened in Springfield and it was top notch BBQ. They've been pretty consistent and put out good food ever since. Sadly, the last few visits have been less than good. 2 months ago I went and said I wouldn't be back. I gave them another shot tonight and I shouldn't have. I ordered the Meat Daddy and every bit of meat was cold. The ribs seemed like they had been there for a couple hours. The potato salad was tasteless and the Mac and Cheese was edible at best. By charging the prices that they do, I expected better food. If they can't turn things back around, I won't recommend them to anyone and I'll take my money somewhere else.

OMG don't. First, if you take a full rack of ribs and can pick it up by one end and it does not fall apart, it is not done. When ribs are done, they fall off the bone. When I saw them starting to pre-cut the ribs, I knew we were in trouble. The rub they use is terrible. Taste like it is burnt. There is no smoke line in the ribs, and you have to pull them or cut them off the bone. Very tough. Fry's were basic mediocre fries. Corn chowder kind of tasteless. Total fail. Stay away.

Not much to say. We had the 4 bone rib plate w fries. The meat was completely dried out. No juice or fat or moisture of any kind. It’s hard to explain why they would sell this. Yuck.
