“My kids took me here last night; 11 yrs in st peters and I've not been before. Great little dive. Super casual. Service was friendly, prices super reasonable, and the food was good. If you ask, they have a list of gf and non gluten free menu items so you can make informed choices. I'm gluten intolerant not celiac so i didn't inquire regarding cross contamination. i got a juicy grilled pork chop, really good baked beans, and broccoli cauli salad: $8.95. Kids got catfish and a burger, the Slick Willy. i was told we lucked out by being able to walk in and sit down - they do get busy busy. There were some outdoor tables as well if the weather is pleasant.“

“This place is great, I love the fact that they are LGBTQ friendly. I took my daughter and her best friend who is disabled there for the first time, and they welcomed her with open arms very friendly atmosphere, and the karaoke was great. And the fact that it was wheelchair accessible made it even better. We were downstairs and The bartender was amazing and friendly, this is definitely a place I will visit again and my daughter has declared this for go to from now on. I highly recommend that you check this place out.Wheelchair accessibility: It was very easy for my daughters friend who is in a wheelchair to get in upstairs, and then to get downstairs where the karaoke is we just wheeled around to the back and went right in through the door. “Everything was great till we paid. Our bill was $46 or so. We tip very well, $20 is our usual tip amount and it always cash. Paid the bill with card, but tip was cash. Molly said nothing, just brought the receipt back for me to sign. Didn't ask if we wanted change or anything, she just assumed that the 20 dollar bill was hers. $9.20 would have been 20%. I would have told her the 20 was for her, but she didn't ask, just assumed. You may think this is petty, however, I don't. Just my 2 cents worth, never assume.“

Ashley was our friendly, smiling waitress. We ordered the trash wings at Ashley's suggestion. Also, chili, BLT & fries, burger, chicken noodle soup. We were pleasantly surprised! Everything was delicious. The BLT was about 3" thick. Trash wings were great. Fresh brewed tea, soda in cans. The manager/chef(??) came out to see how everything was. Shirley's looks like it would be a great place to come for a night out. I would call it a Dive Bar, but food was good, staff was great. The salads are always fresh, and their homemade dressings stand out among St. Louis restaurants. The Reuben sandwich is generously stacked with corned beef, earning Fallon's a high rank for both quality and price. I tried a burger, and it was perfectly cooked and flavorful. Their variety of sides includes options like cottage cheese, coleslaw, onion rings, and, of course, fries. I particularly enjoy their pretzel and cheese appetizer; the pretzels are moist, and the cheese sauce is pretty good. The wings are also a safe bet--they're well-flavored and well-made. There's always something interesting and fun going on, whether it's the nights best karaoke performances or just a random topic of discussion. Our server was mot friendly at all, but she was obviously busy and had probably had a long day- we've all been there, so that's not a deal breaker. The wings were indeed some of the best I've tasted anywhere in a very long time. The ambiance was pretty chill too, but quite busy which is why I can't fault our server. The only true negative I can honestly stick by is the lack of quality beers among the many on offer- but I am a man who prefers deep lagers and stouts, so take my opinion on that with a grain of salt.“
