“Planned to meet friends with under-age kids here on a Friday night after a high school football game. Late-night food options in Alton are sparse. Had eaten here in the past, but apparently this bar/restaurant recently changed ownership. The once loud dance crowd was absent and few cars occupied the parking lot. The menu appeared the same. We ordered chicken wings, peel n eat shrimp and a burger. They only had cajun shrimp left, so after seeing the folks behind me being served the ribeye dinner, I changed my order. Wow. Great flavor, and served with roasted potatoes and fresh green beans. I was impressed. All that was missing was bread, but I didn't care much. I liked the quieter atmosphere and after a very drunk man made a huge scene and a fool of himself, the manager stopped by our table with an apology. Very good service. Excellent value for a steak dinner. Still a great place to eat. The entire meal was less than $30 for two drinks, burger/fries, and steak dinner!“
“I work in Hazelwood and this place was highly recommended by our team. This is my first time here and I had a late lunch. I liked the atmosphere, the staff was pleasant, and the menu had a lot of choices. I picked an option recommended by the server. It came hot and tasted great. The prices are very reasonable for the portions. I read a number of reviews and I like businesses where the owners read and comment on the reviews... It shows they care about what people think. “My big sister helps run the place on the weekends and works the kitchen . it's a nice quiet relaxing spot to play some pool, play video games, darts , have some drinks and great food plus, the atmosphere is always chilled. I highly recommend the double cheeseburger and fries combo with a drink for only 6$, or for a starter the cauliflower bites coupled with mini tacos are also pretty great. Brews are solid priced and reasonable and so are shots it's a great place to stop in and have a few drinks or hang out with friends and get together.“

“Seemingly innocuous facade outside but once you walk into the unassuming front entrance it's a pleasant surprise. We didn't eat and it was our first experience. We stopped by out of curiousity and a night cap- coupled with a little slot action. The bartender was pretty great and the bar was clean, well lit & maintained. The mixed drink my partner got was affordable and the PBR was cold. Overall, I can't wait to support this unique, lo al, popular business in the future. Being a chef, I'm VERY curious about the food so we'll definitely be back for that!!!“
“I’m a burger guy but my buddy said, “First time, you have to get the wings.” He was right. These hot wings are hands down the best I’ve ever had. So much flavor, it’s basically a sin to use ranch or bleu cheese. Gevon is also a gem of a bartender! Highly recommend.Did I mention they use frosted mugs for draft?!“

“The service is SUPER slow even when it's not that busy. It's easily an hour+ wait for your food, 20 mins for your drink. They will run out of turkey ribs by 5 and not answer the phone if you try calling ahead to find out.The vibe is cool, and the food is pretty good. The sweet hot wings, "caeser" salad and loaded fries are my favs. They just sat two slices of American cheese on the bussed down potatoes, lol.You can get a lot of these options at other places with faster service, but overall, it's a good place to hang out and have a cpl of drinks (get the strawberry Dusse).“

All the renovations the Ross and Dawn have done really are a breath of fresh air in the area. “We had a 5 star expense at Bluff City Grill. The food was excellent. We had 6 in our party and everyone thought what they ordered was very, very good. The salads were fresh and well prepared. Sandwiches were also great. Two of us got the wings and they were perfectly cooked, crispy and delicious. They have a large variety of sides including three different vegetables.The service was outstanding friendly and efficient. We can’t wait to go back.“
