The smoke flavor was there without being overwhelming. I had to try the bbq sauce which I later purchased a bottle. Ended my meal with a homemade cinnamon roll that was out of this world delicious!! “Tried the chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes and Dressed roasted Brussels sprouts a couple months ago and, while the chicken and potatoes were delicious, the Brussels sprouts were barely cooked and my roll wasn’t even warm. Went back today, Feb 21, 2024 during the lunch hour and ordered same thing but I requested they cook the Brussels to tender. It was DELICIOUS!! Josh, the bartender, was our waiter and was fantastic. This location has never disappointed me. Great staff and great food!”

“My day turned around by taking my dear friend Darlene Mason-Taylor to B-Day dinner at the Fredrick Inn Steakhouse and having an amazing experience. Top shelf food, drink, service and atmosphere. Golden crispy fried chicken (Breast and leg) with mashed taters, full salad bar and choice of 2 delicious soups for me. 4 oz dinner sirloin, baked potato (the best she's ever had) with full salad bar and choice of 2 soups for Darlene Mason-Taylor. Total bill under $40. We will be visiting again soon, and I encourage everyone in the area to check this place out FR ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“What a cool place in St. Joseph! My family loved the pizza and fun atmosphere. There were games in the back left corner that drew the kids' attention. The service was fantastic as well. We hope to return one day for more buffalo chicken pizza! The gluten free was a pretty thin pizza and awesome! I can't tell you if it was truly gluten free since I don't have celiacs, though. They had the largest gluten free menu of any pizza place I've ever seen. They had gluten free bread for sandwiches and other options as well.”

Best Reuben sandwich I've had anywhere with thick, generous serving of corned beef and served on really good, marbled bread.”

“We went to Country Cookie based on a recommendation of a customer at the nail place we were at. We are from Iowa, never heard of the place before today. The cookies were great. They were having an event that had face painting, tattoos, spin the wheel for a prize and pick a sucker for a prize, plus deals on cookies. We were burning time while the boys went to the Chiefs Training camp. The girls had fun and the staff was so kind and fun. One of them won a deco kit and she had a blast decorating when she got home. It is not allowing us to post pics of the fun we had. Thanks for the experience, we will visit when we come back that way. Everyone should go get ya some cookies from these wonderful people! Ogre says "SHUT YOUR MOUTH, YA GET WHAT YA PAY FOR" and man did I. So they start with a dry rub, then smoked, then brushed on sauce of choice. I chose zombie and garlic pom. Came with a side of homemade chips (which didn't make it 4 blocks). Oh, and might I add, ya get more meat on these "wings" than ya get on some of the fast food legs. DEFINITELY OGRE APPROVED! And theu had some whiskey selection, but couldn't sample since I was still in the work buggy.”

This afternoon, I was fortunate to bring my father to this magical place. He and I do not share ideological beliefs, and so I learned a long time ago to not argue. Instead, I look for places that contain glimmers of the flourishing human life and bring him to visit. I can’t know what seeds were planted today, but as my father looked around in curiosity I saw him wondering… and that’s as good as a beginning as I can hope for these days. “Love this place, I'm a VERY picky eater (texture issues yay!!!🤦) but this place has a wide variety and a daily menu that changes on a regular basis along with the everyday menu items. The fried pickles and mushrooms are fantastic and they serve real chocolate malts with actual malt flavor in it.

“We came in town for the weekend from Iowa. This was one of our first stops. The staff and owners were extremely nice and welcoming. They have a fun indoor/outdoor atmosphere. We loved the outdoor deck which has great views of the downtown strip. Definitely will be back here on our next trip to town.”

“This place is almost always got fresh food is nice and clean and ready for customers it is our entire family's favorite place to get Chinese when we have the means to do so as we have a reasonably sized family. Our daughter always gets excited when she finds out we are going to Chinese to eat. Highly recommend the noodles with bourbon chicken.

Parking: It's in the mall considering that the mall is practically dead there's plenty of parking everywhere

There was hardly any pizza out. Normally when I go in the girl up front, Sophie, goes out of her way to help me. she asks of there's anything I need. The only helpful employee today was the boy picking up my dishes. I hope my next experience is better.”

“When we went inside to get food to-go the drive-thru line was quiet long for the space. We ended up getting our food quickly and, upon returning to our car, were shocked to find that the drive-thru line had been almost entirely cleared. We even made a comment about how it was like Chick-fil-A in speed. Not only did they have fast, friendly, service, their food was delicious and the fries were nice and hot. I will say that the sandwiches are a bit messy, so you'll want napkins. If we ever stop in St. Jo again I'll definitely consider coming back.”

Please stop changing and not improving, your food! LJS has been my favorite fast food restaurant for almost 50 years!”

“It is getting harder and harder to find a restaurant that serves beef burgers and Fords has a good one. I don’t know of any other restaurants serving beef burgers on every day of the week! I like beef burgers on a hot dog style bun with either fries or onion rings. Ford’ has it. Great food reasonable priced. Highly recommended!”
