We have had good meals at Almonds but last night wasn’t one of them. First they do not ever serve bread or crackers with your salad or dinner. When I asked why my roasted pork tenderloin tasted gritty I had no response/reaction. I asked her to check with the chef . Which she did and came back to say it was the raspberry in it. Now I’ve had raspberries before as a glaze and never experienced the sandy grittiness like this. Needless to say i stopped eating the pork and ate my sticky mashed potatoes and green beans which btw seems to be all they ever serve for sides.

Just a really, really good restaurant! I'm assuming family/privately owned and the care that goes in shows. Very personable host, nice decor, and GREAT food! The prices are super reasonable. I am a picky person and Almonds pleased me in all respects. I HIGHLY recommend it!

Stopped in for happy hour and appetizer. Excellent service, excellent mixed drink, and delicious flatbread. Enjoyed a nice quiet hour with my husband.

Almonds is one of the best restaurants in STL in my opinion. Every experience I have had here has been consistently excellent. I got the fried chicken breasts and mashed. So good. And the salad is delicious. I highly recommend Almonds.

This restaurant's been around 27 years, the food was presented nicely, not overly priced. Nice daily selection of food. Simple but interesting decor. Outside seating. Friendly workers.Parking: There's parking in the back of the restaurant and there's parking along the street in front of the restaurant but slim pickings and a bit dangerous with cars coming by.
