I recently visited Anis on a visit back home - and to say I was disappointed is an understatement. The service and atmosphere were fine.The food used to be incredible but now it seems that the ownership or cooks have changed and the food is not good at all.The lamb saag was just ok very light on flavor. The goat masala had a funny/grows taste to it. The veg samosas were soggy. The chicken 65 was lacking the heat/flavor that South Indian cuisine is known for. I couldn’t even finish my plate and tossed the leftovers.It’s unfortunate because the food here used to be amazing, this hands down used to be one of my favorites places. I wouldn’t suggest anyone eat here anymore and I will not return when I visit home again.

Would give 0 stars if I could. Don’t eat here as the taste is really disappointing. I ordered Bhindi Masala, which was so tangy that I couldn’t even eat my first bite. I had eaten from this restaurant before and I was disappointed back then also. Thought to give it a try this time but it’s the same. Go to the Curry Club in Chesterfield instead if you would like to try good Indian food.

Food is real disaster here. It’s literally like trashing money. It’s been 3 times since I had food here hoping it would get better but every time they disappoint. I ordered vijaywada boneless chicken biryani and Hyderabad chicken dum biryani. Vijayawada biryani tasted just like rice mixed with pickle and dum biryani tasted like turmeric rice. Utter disappointment.
