I like this restaurant! It has authentic flavor. Only complaint is that kids choices are very limited. The carne desmenuzada was delicious! The flavors were perfect. Carne asada was also seasoned VERY well.

Excellent authentic Nicaraguan cuisine! The grill pork steak and grilled chicken dishes are rich in flavor. Large portions and savory spices. Highly recommend trying this place. The fried plantains are delicious and cooked to perfection. The beans and rice are also very tasty with flavor. St. Louis’s hidden gem ?

People from my roots, very good service recommended like everyone else Nic ?
Attention to everyone who wants to go to eat at this place when you go to this place because they charge you a tip in your account without them telling you anything, it is not because of how much or little they charge you but it seems somewhat abusive to me because it does not say on the menu or they announce it to you or there is a sign where it says that they charge that amount more separately if you don't let them separate from what they charge you, the owner gets angry if if you order the churrasco they don't give you the option of which way you put it They gave it a medium finish and you could still see the blood on it. I asked them to do it more and the man's response was that I couldn't because I already had the chimirruchi on me and I visited this place because of the supposed almost 5 stars it has but I don't know. They deserve it because the food is very ugly so batteries

Delightfully named after the Nicaraguan Spanish word for fried food street vendors, Fritanga is more than anyone who wants a taste of Central American cuisine could ask for. After spending the summer of 2023 in Nicaragua, I can attest to its authenticity. The owner Octavio and his wife are from a city named Masaya, the exact city I spent the summer, and they brought their culture with them in a way that whisked me right back into a longing for my host family.I highly recommend the carne asada and gallo pinto!

Quiet, unassuming neighborhood restaurant serving delicious Nicaraguan dishes. The big mural on the wall tells you what to expect. Terrific menu of authentic dishes, with a great selection of options. Empanada appetizers were delicious. I have always been a fan of chimichurri, delicious but hard to find. The churrasco nico was excellent, well prepared. Tostones (plantains) along with rice and black beans and slaw on the side made a perfect meal. Tano beer was perfect with the meal. Service was quick and terrific. We are so glad we discovered Fritanga and look forward to our next visit.
