“Wanted some curry for dinner and my boyfriend found this place not far from us, went in and was greeted warmly by the owner. We ordered the Butter Chicken and Chicken Tikka Masala as our main entrees and they did not disappoint! Very flavorful and had great portion sizes. We ordered a strawberry lemonade boba drink that was refreshing and some baklava as a dessert. The baklava was so soft and yummy! After finishing our food, the kind owner gave us free homemade ice cream that was probably the best ice cream both me and my boyfriend have tasted. Highly recommend if you want some good food and as great atmosphere.“

“Small space, but still comfortable. Great place to pick up food if you are at the City Museum since it's so close. The people were super friendly and nice. The food came out quickly and was good quality. We will definitely eat here every time we come to the city museum going forward!“

“The best mediterranean food you can find in St. Louis. Especially the shawerma, so good and so delicious. Professional and so friendly staff makes you feel like you are eating at home. The grocery part of the store is full of so many variety of eastern and international food items that I can't even remember it all. 100% recommend this place.“

“This is my favorite lunch location in town. We go once a week usually on Tuesdays for goat Keema and Thursdays for goat korma. All of the dishes are delicious with tons of good flavor. “Stl Gyros hits the spot for me. I haven't tried all the meat options yet, and some of the side menu items are not as high in quality, but the employees are always respectful and make the food well. I like the available dressings and veggies, and it's usually ready pretty quick. I've never had a bad time at one of these, tho my main location is Creve Coeur“

“I have been going to house of India since I was a kid, they had the best lunch buffet for Indian food I've ever had. Unfortunately Covid did away with that and I moved away so when I was ordering from DoorDash, I was willing to try another location. the reviews were pretty solid for this one, and I couldn't have been happier with the food that I received. The samosa was great, I've had samosas at so many restaurants, and it's kind of hard to have a bad one, but this one was very solid. The saag paneer (sautéed/creamed spinach with cheese cubes) was badass. I added some of the garlic naan and dipped the garlic naan into the saag paneer....woah. Mouth party for 1. Great flavor, great spices. The tandoor chicken was also very good, however, I think to have this dish at its best it really needs to be fresh out of the oven. And to no fault of the restaurant it takes about 45 minutes to an hour to receive it, so very delicious, but I would love to try it at the restaurant. The chutneys were great as well. I will still visit house of India, because that place has been doing it well for a long time, but I will now add taste of India as another one of my favorite restaurants for Indian food in St. Louis. Very impressive especially for delivery food that takes about 45 minutes to get to you. So it must be that much better in the restaurant.“
