I ordered on their website, which was very user-friendly, and the food was made available for curbside pickup promptly and safely in responsible packaging. Our meal was excellent and I highly recommend both the Smashed Bratwurst and the French Onion Melt. If you like alcoholic beverages, the Watermelon Sour is a must-try. Will definitely order from here again.

Their curbside pickup meal is amazing. I'm generally not one to fawn over vegetables, but everything they do here with greens and beans and all those things are an absolute DREAM. Of course the meat is good too, but it's the vegs that are the stars of the show. So affordable and so well put together. Get yourself a meal for two for $50 now!

You will not find a better, more delicious deal in St. Louis. The $50 for two dinner was the best to go meal we've had - ever. Chef Ely is hitting on all cylinders with this curbside menu.

We've had their take away dining during Covid closure and have loved it every time. It's like a taste explosion with every bite. Ordering again tomorrow. And cannot wait for tomorrow's dinner time to get here! And for the reopening. Saw they changed their name to Shift. Kudos for the awareness and sensitivity.

I visited Savage for the second time. The first time was last year, when we could still dine in restaurants. The service and food were impeccable. This time, we did takeout and again, the food was divine. I was surprised at how fabulous their customer service was even with takeout. I have some allergies and after picking up my order and taking it home realized that some items were not gluten free. I gave Savage a call to confirm I couldn't eat some items and they immediately offered to drive to my house in order to give me a salad I could eat. They were at my house in ~15 minutes with a smile (underneath a face mask of course!) and a million apologies. They continue to go above and beyond for their customers! Always impressed and blown away by their team!

Moving to St. Louis just before the covid shut down means the hubs and I are missing out on a lot of the spots we were so excited to try. Luckily Savage is doing these brilliant meals for pickup. I can't compare the food to their dine in experience for those who have been here before- but as a newbie, I am in love. The chicken was wonderfully smoked, the purple malted grits just out of this world and that biscuit! You guys these biscuits are the best biscuits I've ever had. I wish I could order a dozen. Not showed was the very cool grilled buttermilk ice cream dessert. The curbside service was also great. We walked up with our dogs who were promptly given treats. It was decently busy but was kept very orderly and the guy bringing orders out was beyond nice. If the folks at savage are reading this, I have but one complaint- please put the sauce on the side instead of on top of the ice cream because it froze solid when we popped it in the freezer while we ate dinner. Yeah. THAT is my only complaint. Fantastic meal! Can't wait for Savage to do their next meal because we will certainly be ordering!

Curbside carry out for two was absolutely amazing! $50 for more food than two very hungry, very active adults could finish, plus dessert (cookies and ice cream!!). Everything was well labeled, carefully packaged and most importantly, so freaking delicious. Seriously, their food is just so imaginative. Totally worth a try!!

Wow! Just did their curbside pickup, vegetarian option. Fantastic! 5 courses, all major hits. The smoked beets with spring chim...something was great, the biscuits were crispy outside, warm inside, the grits with mushrooms and magic were, well, magic. Finished off with pecan ice cream and cookies! The courses were not large, but surprisingly filling. At $40 for 2 (non-veggie is $50 for 2), that compares well with lots of other places serving food with, well, a whole lot less magic. We'll be back at the curb soon!

This place is worth the splurge. I've been eyeing it since they first opened, and we finally had a good excuse to come here. I'm not much of a seafood eater, but I'm so glad I didn't limit myself here. Most of the cost is for the experience, and it's worth it - too notch with service around the clock. Each course is carefully planned, executed, and given to you at the right time. Each course flowed well, and they all fit so great together. We loved the open concept where you can see everything going on, and the fact they have limited space so it seems so intimate. I'm not sure if we would return again and again, like I said, most of the cost is for the experience, but it's worth it to try at least once. The food was phenomenal and after 12 courses, I thought it was the perfect amount. My boyfriend could have eaten a little more, but he was comfortable when we left. The whole experience was about two hours and it made for the perfect date night. I would highly recommend.

Nice environment, service, food, and overall experience. My only complaint would be that a couple of the dishes were a little sour for my liking, but even that didn’t stunt my review. My favorite dishes were the spot prawn and then the pear with fig leaf sugar dessert. Great place, well worth the price. Highly recommend.

12 course tasting menu is worth trying. Feel like a Michelin restaurant and I love the open kitchen concept. It’s a little bit pricy considering the food is mostly plant based.

Very good food and service! If I were to rate it on a STL tasting menu scale it is #3 behind Vicia and Farmhaus but still very very good! I will confidently say the wine/beer tasting is #1. I do enjoy the open kitchen concept though, they are on to something special there!
