“In my personal opinion this restaurant is home to the best burger known to man, no toppings needed. The service is fast, efficient and incredibly kind and the atmosphere is perfectly retro. Whenever me and my family were fixing up a neighbors house we always ordered the meatloaf and brought it back to our house and it always hit the spot perfectly. both dine in and take out are going to please you. over all I believe this is possibly the best restaurant in Sainte Genevieve.“
“Great food and great service. We were seated on the landing, which felt a bit confining but that's just the nature of the historic building. Those bathrooms, tho ? They're too small to change your mind in! All in all, a good experience and be happy to stop back in the next time I'm in town.“
“I have been to Midway a few times now, and I have consistently been impressed by the entire experience. The service has always been top-notch, and the food is wonderful. My family has tried a pretty good spread of the menu so far and loved everything we've tried. They also have pool and a couple of games, as well as a jukebox. On top of all that, their prices are very reasonable. They are going to be a regular stop for us going forward, definitely.“
“Excellent place to have that really nice dinner experience!! Food is always exceptional and the views out the dining room windows are a nice backdrop. You should look into renting one of their two overnight stay rooms - but because of their popularity they book up fast so plan accordingly!!“
“They serve down home cooing with their fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and sides! The have some of the best pickled beets I've ever eaten! I also love their tea too! Btw...I didn't mention that the beats are homemade, not store bought or canned. They are made on site!I love them!!!We drive from DeSoto to Saint Genevieve just to eat there! “We stayed at this hotel for an anniversary trip. Check in and hotel personnel were friendly. We were left alone after we checked in and that's what we like.Restaurant serves good food and drinks.Rooms: Walls are a little thin for an old building. Bur, room is nice . Water is set too soft; don't like feeling like I will fall in the shower.Walkability: Downtown is only about 2 blocks.“
