They were friendly and the atmosphere is nice. They have fire pits set up and a cute dog. However the food, blah. Paper plates and plastic silverware. All the food was microwaved. Sorry but this was a one time visit.

Love this place. I feel like this is the heart of Washington. The views are beautiful, unfortunately I was so taken by the train that is what I was taking pictures of!!! Lol.You come on in and head up to the bar where you place your order and you are usually greeted by one of the owners who are always there it seems Terry or Jerry or one of their staff who are also amazing. They make you feel like you are right at home.Beer selection is fantastic of course they also offer other drinks of the non alcoholic kind, pizza and food is also amazing. I cannot say enough good things about this place. If you are ever in Washington, Missouri you should stop by and enjoy this place for a bit the Bier Deck itself will keep you coming back for years!!!Parking: Free street parking as well as a parking lot. There is also handicap parking available!
Would be all 5 stars if the owner wasn't such a j**** Used to be our go to place and now we will never be back because of our last encounter with him (second time he was rude within 2 mos). If he is going to treat his customers the way he treated me, then he should just shut down the bier deck like he did the restaurant. There are plenty of places downtown that are ran or owned by great people. We will be spending our money at those places from now on.

Only affiliated with the Beer Deck, and they are with me!! Lol. The hand crafted beers are rather potent... about 12%, the blonde beers are more palatable.. to me, being a light weight, one does me!! It's a great venue with a wonderful view. Great afternoon, they have light food, snacks and a fantastic root beer float!! You'll not see too many guys these days wearing a kilt... A cool place.

Great view. Enclosed deck during the winter months. Beautiful sunny day in February. We ordered spinach artichoke dip and an extra crispy meat lovers pizza. You place your order at the bar for food and drinks. After a short period of time the buzzer summoned me to pick up the dip. The chips & dip were okay. Nothing special or memorable about it.Sometime later an average pizza was ready for us. No real taste too it. I don't know if they prepared it with any amount of seasonings or it was just bland. Bacon bits not strips of bacon on the pizza.Maybe it was us. We are used to great Italian pizza and while we were aware this was not an Italian restaurant it sufficed for a quick lunch.
