Arrived 530 pm party of 6 sat upstairs outside patio. Weather was perfect. Had a bottle of Joel Gott wine couple cocktails here and there. Service was efficient. Two French dips, a grilled cheese, grilled chicken sandwich, large salad mixed greens cranberries honey roasted pecans fried goat cheese and a large cobb salad. Took a chocolate pecan piece of pie home(rich and fabulous).

Went to celebrate the end of the semester with a couple of friends. Gosh, this is a beautiful indoor/outdoor restaurant space in an adorable neighborhood. We shared the Brie en croute (pictured). The pastry was perfectly baked. For my main, I had the steak with sautéed arugula and mashed potatoes. I ordered medium, but it was more toward well done. Not a huge deal, though, because it was so flavorful. The chimichurri sauce was killer. Arugula and potatoes were solid but not exceptional. My friends' dishes are also pictured here--a chicken sandwich with gouda and a club sandwich. We all really enjoyed our meals. The only drawback was the service. It was nearly impossible to get our server's attention. We probably waited 20 minutes before he even came by to get drink orders initially. The food, however, is quite good, and there's other stuff on the menu that I can't wait to try.

The drinks were terrible, the roasted chicken served to me raw in the middle, only to have the manager come try to justify it, with no offer of a repair. Could have at least offered to take off one of the expensive, awful drinks and might not have left with a bad taste in my mouth.

Love the historical building! Very nice outdoor patio, part of it is covered so even if it's raining you can eat outside if you choose to. Good sized parking lot behind the restaurant. The service was good. We went early (5:15) on a Friday night. There was a 45 minute wait by the time we were leaving at 6:45. The food tasted good. I was a little disappointed with the cheddar bacon poutine. I was expecting fried curds and not just chunks of cheddar. The bacon was cut up very tiny and very hard. But the fries and gravy tasted good. I had the kielbasa dinner. The sausages reminded me more of brats, but tasted very good. The kapusta (sauerkraut with bacon) was DELICIOUS and the best sauerkraut I ever tasted. The mashed potatoes tasted like baked potato, yummy. While everything wasn't exactly what I expected, it all tasted great!

The parking lot was surprisingly big so we were able to find a spot right away on a Saturday. We requested a table on the patio so we had to wait a little bit which was fine since it was so nice out. The waiter was RUDE to my friend. She asked if she could get an iced sweet tea and where he promptly put the menus down on the table, kept his arms down, looked right at her and said in an irritated parent voice and said, "we don't HAVE sweet tea here," and it ruined the entire mood for the meal. He had to keep asking for things that we requested when we ordered and it was not a very enjoyable experience despite the reviews of this establishment. I will say the fries were delightful, but the burger was extremely salty. I also ordered the pain killer and was surprised at the ratio of alcohol to juice. At least I know they aren't stingy with their alcohol! I like the touch of mint border outside to keep mosquitos away. Disappointed, but at least I had good company.

Had a really great experience at our first visit to Frisco Barroom. We were looking for a patio on a beautiful spring day and decided on Frisco. We had our kids so we needed something kid friendly. We arrived after lunch rush on a Saturday but we still had a 30 min wait for the patio. Parking was easy with a lot behind the restaurant and street parking in front. It was easy to entertain ourselves by walking up and down the street for a while, and there were benches on the street in front of the restaurant. They use yelp for waitlist but it doesn't look like you can join the waitlist unless you talk to the hostess (not open on yelp for customers). We were seated on the ground level patio. The front section closest to the restaurant is completely shaded by a really nice tarp, and there is a section along the back that also appears to be mostly covered, but we were seated in a courtyard area where shade only comes from table umbrellas. 2 of our seats were in the shade, 2 were in sun. It's a bummer but you can't always control the sun when you want to sit outside. Service was very good. We had a excellent, friendly waiter and someone who seemed like a manager who helped to deliver food and bus the table. We ordered wings and pierogies for appetizers. We had mixed feelings about the wings. The flavor was really delicious and the sauces were really creative and yummy. The wings were a little fatty and the skin wasn't rendered and crispy, so that was kind of off-putting to me. The drummies were better but the flats were really fatty and I didn't enjoy them. The kids and my husband loved the flavor and happily ate my portion. The pierogies were delicious but needed a little salt, easily remedied at the table. I would 100% order them again. For our meals, we ordered a cheeseburger and fries off the kids menu (same as the adult burger but a little cheaper, per the waiter), chicken salad on croissant with cucumber salad, cheeseburger with potato and cheese casserole, and grilled chicken sandwich with fries. The burgers were great and there truly was no difference between the adult and the kids burger. The menu said the bread is made in-house and the buns were all very fresh and yummy. Chicken sandwich was great but very messy from the tomato and the juice from the chicken. Chicken salad was very good, more savory that most I've had, even with the cherries, but still delicious. The potato casserole was the favorite of the sides. French fries were fresh and crispy but needed salt. The cucumber salad was really disappointing. If it had a dressing, it was completely invisible. It tasted like just plain cut up cucumbers with a little onion and peppers. Big bummer there and only had a few bites. I tried both of their mocktails, a strawberry margarita and a blackberry spritz. Both were very good but the blackberry spritz was just barely my favorite. It tasted more like an actual cocktail and had a nice bitterness similar to an aperol spritz. The strawberry margarita was delicious and sweet. The only bummer was that they were $10 each, which is hard to take for a drink with no alcohol. I will say that I felt better about paying for these drinks because they felt like real thought and care had been taken in crafting them instead of just dressing up lemonade or soda and calling it a mocktail. I will definitely be coming back! This place was a big surprise. It was "cool" without being pretentious, was casual enough to wear sweats and bring the kids but classy enough for a nice dinner out or happy hour. Good food, good drinks, good location, good everything!

John Barr has created a great space in Old Webster. Rooftop, patio with fireplace for the winter months and a covered outdoor area, Unique menu items like the pastie, a great draft beer and whisky selection. The servers and bartenders are professional and attentive.

Frisco has such a great variety of choices on their menu. Such a happy atmosphere and comfortable setting. Love the outside seating which can be enjoyed in even a nippy temp. Service was very good for such a usually busy place. I enjoyed pierogis which isnot an easy menu item to find. The salads are creative and bountiful. Try some unique and tasty cocktails. A restaurant to visit often.

The food and ambiance are excellent, with a charming back patio, equipped with heaters for those chilly months. Street parking adds to the convenience.

Lovely atmosphere. The wait wasn't too bad. My family enjoyed their meals. I had a salad with steak. Although cooked as I specified, the cut of meat was not tender at all. I struggled to cut it, bite it, chew it. Pretty flavorless and not seasoned at all. The salad by itself was enjoyable, but that cut of beef was terrible and was not tender at all. Not at all what you expect to get on a salad. Seemed like stew meat. Something that would need time to cook to be tender. Oh, well. The other dishes were decent. It's a nice place. I am sure people love it. It's a popular spot. I would return. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. She asked how everything was, and as soon as i mentioned the steak, she seemed to run off. I wasn't angry about it, just disappointed. I would have appreciated her telling the kitchen the feedback, but i assume nothing happened with that information. More than anything, it's a nice place, with a nice menu, so I expected a better steak than that. But overall. Nice place. A bit loud for my liking, but it's more of a bar a or pub atmosphere, so it's to be expected.

I adore this place. The food is incredible - treat yourself to the grilled cheese one day and you won't regret it. Atmosphere is nice and clean, plus I have never had bad service from any server.

Ordered what was supposed to be a Cobb salad for $15-this was definitely in line with a side salad. They also wanted $7 more to add chicken which would make this a $22 salad-crazy! Helpful hint, drive to Billy G's and get the Cobb salad, it's huge and loaded with toppings for $18.
