The Annex Coffee and Foods is an absolute gem. Located in Webster Grove off Big Bend Road, the Annex serves as more than just a coffee shop: It is also a restaurant, bakery, market with local foods, ice cream parlor, and candy shop. The Annex was awesome. Such a fun concept with a bustling, vibrant atmosphere. It is basically a 4 in 1 stop shop: coffee, deli, market, candy/ice cream shop. Perusing the market was a dream. The single aisle is inundated with local treats that pack tons of flavor. You'll find barrel aged maple syrup, cherry jalapeño jam, chili oils, and much more. I've been a loyal customer of The Annex since it first opened in our neighborhood a few years ago. Every other Saturday, I come here for their breakfast burrito that comes with an incredible avocado crema. I did notice that the portion sizes have decreased while the prices have risen.
