“I've been a loyal customer of The Annex since it first opened in our neighborhood a few years ago. Every other Saturday, I come here for their breakfast burrito that comes with an incredible avocado crema. I did notice that the portion sizes have decreased while the prices have risen. The service is friendly, with welcoming cashiers and baristas at the front counter where you order food and drinks. I've tried their quiche and lunch sandwiches, which were just okay. The Seasonal Ube Latte was amazing, but unfortunately, it's no longer available. Their other coffee offerings are decent. On the pastry front, the blueberry lemon muffin and almond croissant are my go-tos. They often sell out if you arrive late in the morning! It's a cute spot to grab last-minute gifts. They've even started carrying my favorite hummus, which was previously only available at the local Farmers Market. Just note that some items are temporary or seasonal. They have expanded to include an ice cream side and we look forward to trying it some time.“
“Although my drink hasn't been spot-on the way I want it, that has become the goal with the staff & I during each visit. It's gotten closer, so with the next 2 visits, I'm sure the goal will be achieved. Great staff & experience!Wheelchair accessibility: Yes.“
“I recently dined Clover & The Bee and had an amazing experience! The atmosphere was so quiet and relaxed, it was the perfect spot to unwind. But what really stole the show was the food and drinks! Their chocolate martinis were to die for - rich, creamy, and utterly decadent. But what really impressed me was the service. Our waitress was so attentive and knowledgeable. When I mentioned I had gluten intolerance, she went above and beyond to investigate which dishes included gluten and suggested alternatives. She even double-checked with the kitchen to make sure I was safe.On top of the excellent service, the food was delightful! Overall, I'm so impressed with Clover & The Bee. The combination of great food, drinks, and service makes it a must-visit spot. Can't wait to go back!Dietary restrictions: They offer gluten free crackers in lieu of the pita with the hummus.“
“We wound up here when The Clover and the Bee was packed, with a thirty-minute wait, on Presidents' Day. I didn't know anybody got that day off anymore, lol.Anyway, it was a lovely place for a first date, probably better suited to our bohemian natures than the other place would have been anyway. My companion ordered a hand pie/empanada, I ordered a spinach/goat cheese croissant, and we each got a chai latte. The croissant was so-so--they use whole pieces of baby spinach with the stem, and it seems to have gone through a toaster oven or something which singes the edges of the leaves. It tasted nice but I wish it had been a little daintier, first date and all. ? I greatly enjoyed the chai latte, but my companion is very picky about chai and just thought theirs was okay.I enjoyed the decor and found it easy to hear, even though the place was nearly full. The bathroom was clean and well-stocked.Vegetarian options: Plenty of veggie options.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free tamales. Sugar-free syrups for lattes--a real rarity!“
“SO CUTE! The iced mint matcha was solid and the inside and outside aesthetic is adorable, clean, with a vintage decor flare. The greenhouse and garden area makes this place more than a coffee shop, but a cute afternoon activity! I’m excited to come back?“
