Simmer Down is a nice place with a casual atmosphere. The food is great, especially the steak for two with salad bar, hush puppies, and fries. The service is excellent, with attentive staff. The wait time is short and the salad bar is delicious. Popular and a bit loud, but to be expected. The Mahi Mahi and fried chicken sandwich were highlights. Overall, a great spot for a Friday night date night, definitely worth coming back to.
