Recently upgraded restaurant that looks great. It has all the stuff you expect for a buffet. I tried the lunch time offering. The ribs were good but no side sauces. Prime rib was a bit tough. The food was still at a fair price and you can find something to satisfy your tastes.
Here's the trick to the Beau buffet. Eat dinner there, not lunch. Lunch is mostly leftovers from dinner the night before. Dinner is exceptionally good. Like most buffets, they don't spend the extra money to get great roast beef for their cutting station. The chefs try to make it edible, but it just isn't. For the Saturday buffet, the food was just average. The carving station was decent and the sides were just something to try but not go back for seconds. I will say that the desserts were wonderful! Note worthy were the crème brûlée, keylime and chocolate torte. Our server was attentive and kind. The dining area was clean and overlooked the grand foyer of the casino.I guess over all I just expected better quality food for being at the Beau Rivage.
