“Very nice local place with options other than fried food. We happened upon the place on our drive to New Orleans. I had the sweet potato hash for breakfast which was delicious. They are accommodating for vegetarian diets. The service was friendly and helpful. I would have liked to try the lunch menu as there were several options that looked good. I highly recommend this place.“
“If your southern and you like spices I do not recommend this food .. however the woman was an absolute GEM there and yes they accept EBT and that is strictly why I'm giving 5 star there is a complimentary fee for them to cook the cold food u purchase with ebt though but it's not too much. The decor there is over the top . We got eye balled by some customers there but thats not there fault LOL my order was short but they let me rain check my food which is awesome so I do appreciate this place. !!“
“The gumbo is the best in town. The truck is in a really convenient location at the gas station and there are tables outside if you want to sit and eat. Everything I've had is really fresh and all over delicious. Give it a try! Service is amazing too. Ladies are always so sweet and the owner will always take time to talk to you.“
“I can't remember who our server was, but she was amazing & made it a much better experience. I think her name was Melissa, but I'm not sure. She's short with short blonde hair that had pink tips. Very attentive & helpful, even when overwhelmed. We couldn't have asked for a better server. The food was amazing too! The next time we're in Brookhaven, we will definitely be stopping back by & finding a table in her section!“
“Love the place! Super convenient. The owner is very nice! He tried everything to help me when my truck broke down even putting his battery in my car. They have bait, crickets, dvd's, homecooked food, seasoned meat, rental equipment, ice, medicine.. literally everything you need! One stop shop if you are camping, going to Lake Lincon, or just need flour and eggs. Highly reccommend!“
“I went there to celebrate my birthday and I enjoyed it. The food was great waitress was nice. Each worker I spoke to was nice. Who I got to give a 100 to is Mz Mamie with that beautiful smile. I watched her and people who were working with her. They kept the food coming. They didn't let anything get empty. Mz Mamie was on point. You smiling and talking to some of the people. She was bringing the food out there and kept clean every time she came out. And the young people came out there and helped her. Whoever, the boss is, keep your crew. They are great.
