“This location is the best! In the middle of bad weather, I raced to this restaurant to pick up my order I called in. This location closes at 9:30. I pulled up to door at 9:29 in the middle of a storm. The worker saw me pull up and came out to my car with an umbrella and walked me to the door. I apologized for coming so late and paid for my order. The worker was so friendly and kind to me the whole time. Walking out of the restaurant, she said “Let me help.” She grabbed the umbrella again and walked me to my car. I know this may not mean much to some, but this is one of the nicest things that happened to me this year! Also, my order was correct and the food was amazing! Thank you sooo much! ♥️“

“This is my second time eating from this establishment. The food is always good and plentiful and the service is "feel-good" friendly! If you serve salad WITHOUT bacon bits (artificial or otherwise), you can earn better ratings from me!“

“What? You haven't been here yet?? Come hungry and ready to feast! The food is excellent. Friday and Saturday evenings feature more top shelf seafood, such as oysters on the half shell and the sushi bar is upgraded on the weekend as well. The staff are very nice and attentive. This is easily my very favorite buffet in Central Mississippi.“

“The food and atmosphere was great as always. The only thing keeping me from a 5 star review was the service this visit. We got to our table at 7:00 (which was our reservation time) and didn't leave till after 10:00. We watched other tables come and go, so not sure why it was taking our service so long. Then to cap it off, we ordered a couple desserts and after waiting for them about 20-25 minutes, the waiter tells us, "I'm sorry, we won't be able to serve your desserts tonight", then just walks away, no explanation or anything. It was a really odd experience, never complained or had any issues other than waiting so long, but we were enjoying our company, so we let it go, but by the time we left, it was like, what happened and why did things take so long and what was with the desserts?“

“First time going there and had the pig ear slider one was hot the other was mild. The hot is hot like very hot , but the mild was better but they both were delicious. Also had the tamales and they were good as well. I will most definitely be back.“

“I was happy to discover this gem. It is close to my mom's house so if she's not cooking, then im coming down the street. As a Mississippian, I pride myself on good Southern Soul food. And this is 1 spot that hits just about every box for me. They have seats for dining in & tvs. I went on a Sunday right before they were closing at 4. It's already hard enough to find a good soul food spot open on a Sunday. The staff took my order over the phone and I got there 15 minutes later and it was ready. I tried their fried chicken with some creamy mac & cheese & dressing. Now prior to this Ive had similar meals at other locations and was not impressed. This spot definitely made my visit! The food was so hot, good, and seasoned well; even my mom was impressed. So that's a great sign. I would definitely be back.“

“I love this place, The drinks are always excellent, and the service has always been wonderful. Although I am not originally from MS, when I visit The Library Lounge I feel like I am transported into my California girl imagination of the Deep South, ahhh it's so cool! But being a Louisiana kid I have to say the food is INSANELY delicious, we have a group of like 8 or 9 people so we had a variety of food and we all had a little bit of everything. Both crawfish options (mild and spicy) where absolutely delicious. “Is this a 5 star Michelin restaurant no, is this an over the top atmospheric vibe no.But what it does have is Love and Soul into every bite. I will drive an hour out of my way to come get food from here as often as we can. I have NEVER had a bad bite of food from this place. I see some of your reviews claiming it’s “too this and too that” about the seasoning… look if your scared of flavor just say so cause this place does not disappoint at all.“
