“This was my first visit to Picantes Mexican Grill, the staff was very friendly, food was good, the service was top notch and the restaurant was clean, tidy and welcoming. I'll definitely be going back whenever I'm in the Clinton Ms area.Parking: Very large parking lot with each parking space having more than enough room for larger vehicles.“
“I'm not a local but was passing through from Texas and needed a road break. It was Monday, rainy and business was slow. Employees were very friendly and recommended a strong margarita, the Texan. I recommend it!! The chips and salsa were perfect. Salsa was bland and not too spicy. I had veggie fajitas, which needed some seasoning, but the salad it came with was awesome. I'd definitely try something else next time“
“Good food & normally good service, but not tonight. Server expected me to stretch across the table and other guests to get my drink and napkins and then asked if l wanted all of my order. Yes, tortillas come with this order & yes, l do want them.“
“This location is literally the best Taco Bell I've been too. Everytime I go, I'm pregnant so I've been a ton, the workers are ALWAYS kind and welcoming. Smiles, how are you's, how can I help you's. I know that sounds bare minimum but you just don't get good service at fast food chains these days. I try to compliment them each time I come through! Food is always hot, yummy, and the order is always correct.“

“The best tacos we've had in the area so far! We were living in Southern Cali so accustomed to bomb tacos. The meats are great- tender juicy and flavorful. They have a big salsa collection but the sauces are a little watery and I wish they had cucumbers or something pickled on the side. The prices weren't exorbitant but did seem a little high. But also used to Cali where you can get a plate of good tacos for a few bucks. Plus inflation. Anyways, I highly recommend this little hole in the wall. The al pastor was my favorite. Carnitas are also good.“
“I intended to dine in out of curiosity, but I was so intrigued with the store I decided to grocery shop. This hidden gem hosts freshly cut meat, fresh fruit and vegetables, and as typical grocery items. In search of boots? Carnecería Valdez has those too.“

“Visted on 3/19/24 service was excellent and food was on point and freshly made. I couldn’t ask for better service. Mateo was a great waiter even though we had to translate a bit. This little hole in the wall beats out Picantés and Salsa’s hands down. This is now my go to spot for Mexican food. The only thing it is lacking (personal preference) is lengua and barbacoa tacos. I prefer my Mexican as authentic as I can get where as local folks are accustom to the mundane and non seasoned foods that are offered.It is tucked back across from Walmart in Clinton,MS by down range tactical gun store and the parking is messed up but he food and service is most definitely worth it.They will get my support and I will do my best to help them prosper in this struggling economy.“
