Excellent customer service! Delicious BBQ, Memphis style barbecue sauce, and many options for sides. Besides being known for their barbecue they have a nice sized menu with several other soul food type options. Everything I have ever had here is delicious! We prefer their barbecue here because they use a sweet barbecue sauce and some of the other local places use more of a North Carolina vinegar based sauce. They can also handle large to go orders, too! Small town atmosphere.

Have never had a bad meal. Pork sandwich, catfish, waffle fries, okra, beans, Mac and cheese. Two adults can easily eat for under $20.
I really love good barbecue and this place used to be popping. The food is still good but the condiments are so nasty. I really wish they would clean better and sanitize their containers. The crusty sauce and empty ketchup just drew the line for me. They could use some wood paper towel holders for the tables too. The paper towels just sit on the tables where people pick them up with their nasty hands. Yuck. The employees never greeted me as they were counting cash on the food counter. I really hope they washed their hands afterwards. Where's the owner?

Let me preface that I'm an out of towner. Service isn't the end all be all with me, so I won't harp too much on it. Just weird that for a refill of a drink the fountain is behind the counter and no table service is provided. The food was absolutely perfect, delicious and so great that the rest didn't matter. The catfish was delicate, crispy and full of flavor! Each side was great and complimentary. I can't recommend this enough if you're passing through!

You can't go wrong when choosing to eat at The Little Dooey! Wonderful bbq, baked beans, and of course the fried pickles makes it my restaurant of choice in both Columbus and Starkville! The service is excellent and fast, and the atmosphere is very hometown Columbus- fun and full of locals!

The 2 young girls working in the front on the weekends are very incompetent. I visited 2 days in a row and BOTH times they got my order wrong after being on the phone for at least 10 minutes and repeating my order multiple times.. literally 10 minutes.. the food is great however the service has very much declined.
