“I tried a vegan dish for the first time today and I must say I was very impressed. I had three tacos, sweet potato fries and a mango smoothie. The dish was appealing to look at, the aromas were pleasant and the taste was excellent. If you’re interested in trying vegan foods, check out this place on Highway 82, highly recommended!!”

“Everything was wonderful. I was in Greenville for work and I knew this was the original. The steak was cooked to perfection. We had great service. I got there a few minutes before my coworker so I ran down the street for a bottle of wine. (Yes, the restaurant provided a corkscrew.) I really loved the atmosphere. You if like upscale food in a dive environment then Doe's is for you. I love walking in through the kitchen!”

“That Volcano Roll was straight 🔥 — full roll, no cuts, no sharing, just pure happiness. Perfectly saucy, fresh, and packed with flavor like every bite was a reward. Easily a 10/10, no debate. Paid $13 and some change and honestly would do it again without thinking twice. Huge shoutout to Osaka Steak House With Sushi for coming through — whoever took my order, you’re appreciated because that roll was EVERYTHING. Highly recommend, no hesitation. 🍣🔥”

“The Four Foodie Sisters took on the Tamale Trail in search of the best tamales. STOP RIGHT HERE, because this place is the bomb. It is only one of two places we would drive back to with more people!!! The Tamale Pie and the Fried Tamales are off the chart. Do not pass this up or miss out. The staff was AMAZING as well. Go to the 1427 Hwy 1 location because it has the full menu. We promise, you won't be disappointed. The Four Foodie Sisters know food”

“A great Downtown Greenville experience!

Neat atmosphere, blocks from the river, spacious, comfortable restaurant.

Great assortment of app. The cheese curds are legit!

Entrees to please every palate. The filet is well seasoned, cooked as ordered, tender and tasty.

The salmon is excellent and cooked like you request. I prefer mine a little past medium. It’s fantastic!!

A variety of sides, fires, sweet fires, baked potato, and wild rice among others. Seasoned green beans come with your order.

Salads are fresh and dressings are good.

The gumbo is interesting , but I would say not a traditional gumbo. The roux is light, it has shredded chicken that dominates the dish, okra and green onion/scallions.

Unique drinks from the bar, among the traditional ones you’d expect. Try the Boozie Smoothie! It’s Great!

Dessert was a they-made-it cake, just a bit underwhelming.

When I booked, I wasn’t sure what I wanted to order in advance being the first time trying it. The owner’s customer service is great, so welcoming and the vibe is amazing! Felt like family! Told the guy I wanted Cajun pasta, plain cheeseburger with nothing on it (asked if I wanted this and that,said no just plain), ordered another cheeseburger with everything, ordered honey gold chicken wings. Go to pick up the order, they only gave us Cajun pasta and one cheeseburger. No chicken wings because he thought I wanted honey gold sauce on the burger and missing a burger. Now having to sit and wait on another burger and just said forget the wings because it was going to be even longer. If you are going to place a phone order, have someone that can understand what is being ordered.”

“While visiting Greenville last September, I ordered 2 dozen peanut butter cookies from the Sweets Tooth Baker. The cookies were soft, chewy and absolutely delicious. “Walked in as a first-time customer & walked out as a forever customer today. One of the best salads I ever had since Q-Mart by Carrie Stern. I knew the salad was gone be busting when I smelled the fresh aroma of it from the bag. Salad was huge and Made just the way I like my salads… WITH EVERYTHING‼️ I even love how they chopped the cucumbers up small and soft. The customer service was amazing. Very nice people! “My wife and I went to Downtown Grill to celebrate our 30 anniversary. Wonderful atmosphere and a beautiful restaurant. Waitress was outstanding and our food was cooked perfectly.”

“This was my first time trying this particular location. I ordered the promotional chicken pimento sandwich, and ordered the chicken spicy. My side was a soup, and I also got a fruit cup. The sandwich was AMAZING, but messy. The soup tasted homemade, but the crackers were really hard. The fruit was good, but the strawberries were a little underripe. I also tried the unsweet dragonfuit tea, it was good.

I went through the drive though and the staff was very friendly and professional. I hardly waited in line because it went so fast.”

“Them Junk Yard Fries from Krystal really be hitting different 😮‍💨🔥 Crispy fries loaded up with savory chili, melty cheese, and all the messy goodness you want in a comfort snack. Definitely one of those “eat in silence and enjoy every bite” type meals. The fries had that perfect balance — crunchy on the outside, soft inside — and the toppings carried every bite. If you love loaded fries with bold flavor, these gone have you scraping the bottom of the tray 😂🍟”

“This was my second time ever trying Church’s Chicken, and I’ll be honest I didn’t expect much. Last time I had it, it was dry and un-seasoned. This was a totally different experience. I will say, we waited about half an hour to place our order, and then about 10-15 minutes after they told us to pull up because we were waiting for the classic chicken sandwich.

We ordered garlic parm tenders with fries and a large coke, and a side of ranch. And then after being told the smokehouse chicken would be an additional 30 minutes I decided to the classic chicken sandwich with coleslaw.

The food was fresh and hot. The chicken sandwich was wonderful, but messy. The coleslaw was great too. My only complaint is that they forgot to give me hot sauce that I requested.”

“This was my first time having Captain D’s in years, I was excited to try it again, in a new location. I ordered the fish and shrimp with veggies and coleslaw. I also asked for tarter and cocktail.

The food was fresh and hot, but I felt like it could have been seasoned better, maybe more salt. It’s not as flavorful as Long John Silver’s, but it also doesn’t make you sick to your stomach from grease. The sauces also needed more flavor.

Overall I enjoyed my food, it’s always busy any time I drive by, and I didn’t have to wait long.”

She brought our food out correctly. She constantly asked if we needed anything else. I wished I had asked her name. But silly me. She was so very cordial. I just have to shout the young lady out.
