“Went to Spectator’s for dinner while in Greenville. All of the staff were super friendly and helpful. The food was wonderful. We had fried green tomatoes, baked oysters with spinach and hamburger steak. Everything was delicious and served hot and fresh. Would definitely go back again. Fun and relaxing atmosphere.”

Recently had a fairly big to-go order of 24 egg rolls and 18 chicken wings.

Egg rolls were crispy, hot, and delicious. They were not greasy and despite the number, were very consistent. They included duck sauce, prepackaged, but what you expect.

The wings were “original, “lemon pepper” and “hot, honey.”

Again, hot and crispy. Not too greasy/oily and the Order was ready at the precise time they originally told me.

They have a big menu of the Chinese standards. Give them a try.

“This was my second visit here at Scoops. The first time I had a small cup of gumbo, it was okay. Each day is a different lunch menu for $13.00 per person. This isn't bad if you want comfort food. 👍🏻 They also have a regular menu where you can order other items. Those prices are kinda reasonable under $20.00. I had the ruben 🥪 sandwich with potato 🥔 salad. Other family members weren't impressed. The burger 🍔 meat was very dry. The hot roast beef sandwich with gravy was very disappointing. It was everything but hot 🥵 The cheese 🧀 looked old, & the gravy was cold. 🥶 A lot of people had been raving about Scoops but never believed in the hype. 🤗 Oh yes, 1 more thing they do have a variety of delicious ice cream.. 😜😋”

“I like Chick-fil-A, but I am supposed to eat grilled rather than fried. The grill sandwich is good but not as good as fried. The grilled chicken egg white breakfast sandwich was disappointing. Love their lemonade.”

“It scratched the itch for Chinese food when traveling out of town.

A big menu with all of the usual suspects. General Tsos, orange chicken, sweet and sour chicken, rices and veggies. 🥦

The star was the egg rolls and fried rice. The egg rolls were hot, crispy and flavorful. The fried rice had bits of pork in it and was good.

The Tsos chicken was ok. The sauce made the breading soggy. The Mongolian beef was ok as well. Lots of onions and peppers. Orange chicken was also just ok. It had an odd after taste.

Stick with the old faithfuls; sweet and sour chicken, fried rice and egg rolls.”

“The Four Foodie Sisters took on the Tamale Trail in search of the best tamales. STOP RIGHT HERE, because this place is the bomb. It is only one of two places we would drive back to with more people!!! The Tamale Pie and the Fried Tamales are off the chart. Do not pass this up or miss out. The staff was AMAZING as well. Go to the 1427 Hwy 1 location because it has the full menu. We promise, you won't be disappointed. The Four Foodie Sisters know food”

“April 14 2025 I ate at Captain D's the service was horrible we had to wait in our car for 20 minutes for our food then when we get it so much grease in the fish and fries I had a medium tea when I reached for the tea the top wasn't secured and waisted all over my clothes and car seat”
