“I was in town and had to get on a zoom call during my first visit there and they were so kind about allowing me to use the wifi. They were very warm and welcoming and I loved my Açaí bowl! Can't wait to go back!”

“We stopped in upon arrival to the Delta area. My momma and step dad love this place. Every time they visit Leland they come here specifically for the catfish. So we decided to try this place. The owners are absolutely sweethearts. We were able to order the 2 piece lunch special for dinner. We walked in on a Friday night and only had one customer ahead of us. I did notice a lot of people calling in their order for pickup. There is only 2 picnic tables outside and no restroom for public use. Okay back to the food. We waited maybe 10 minutes for our order. I had catfish with hush puppies, corn nuggets and coleslaw. It was delicious. Husband had the same but instead of corn nuggets he had fries. Everything was fresh hot and seasoned. We decided to try the "sweet juice". Baby! It's sweet. It's good but sweet. Decided to save it and dilute it with some water to make a pitcher of juice. Lol it's that sweet. The only reason I gave the restaurant 4 stars is because of the size of the catfish. My mom said they used to be bigger and we thought they could've been bigger. I understand the cost of food has increased but for $17.99 per person, the fish could have been bigger or another fillet. Would we eat here again? Absolutely. Would I try something different? Absolutely. I would say come in and give it a try. Next time I want to try the fried okra.”

“The staff was very friendly and polite, it was my first time eating there. I had ribs with honey gold sauce and it was delicious, sweet potatoes, cabbages, and cornbread and their famous Large Cup Of KoolAid. I really enjoyed my plate I had to save some for later. “Really great service and food. We had the whole place to ourselves because we got there right as they opened, but they offered excellent customer service and made fresh, great tasting food. The portions were huge and honestly affordable.”

“Awesome place to eat. Great history behind the restaurant. Same family has owned it since the early 1900’s. Our food has fantastic and the hash browns are great. If we make it back to the area again we will definitely stop back ”

“We ordered 6 dozen tamales for our non traditional Christmas dinner here in Kansas City, MO. After our Road trip to MS. And discovering Delta tamales. Shipped perfectly frozen, no issues and was the Hit at our Christmas Dinner. Absolutely awesome!”
