The food is amazing. My favorites are the pizza, chicken and waffles, and any of the burgers. There are outdoor games to play with large screens if your favorite teams are playing. “This is a local bar that serves house made brews on tap and burgers. They also have some guest taps and a big selection of cans and bottles. We had burgers and some of the beers. The beers were pretty good. The Mystic, a Belgian hibiscus ale, is particularly good, even if you’re someone who doesn’t like beer. The burgers were a little overcooked for my taste. The atmosphere was okay. My wife thought the place was a little too small for the volume of the music. It made conversation difficult. They had a live folk singer who I’d have paid to stop singing, but the place is pretty cool overall and worth a stop if you’re in Hattiesburg.“
“I had such an amazing experience on the patio at Mahogany Bar. My girlfriend and I came for the pizzas and wine deal. Luke and Matt were bartending and were excellent. Very helpful and prepared. Would definitely recommend anyone to come check out the new patio.“
“I was staying at a local hotel and walked over here. I walked inside and sat at the bar. I was immediately greeted by the bartender and asked about the food. She recommended a great burger. I substituted the sweet potato fries and it was a wise choice. Staff was friendly. Atmosphere was good. I would eat here again.“
“Great service and atmosphere. My wife had the fried pork chops with fries and lima beans. Large serving of 2 pork chops which from my one bite was deliciously tender and perfectly cooked. I ordered the hamburger steak lunch special of the day which came with grilled onions and gravy, fried okra, mash potatoes and gravy, lima beans, and a roll. Portioning was perfect on the sides but a little skimpy on the hamburger burger steak but it might be because it's a lunch portion. The hamburger steak was definitely overcooked and dry as I ordered medium and it was definitely well done. This was my only complaint as a second time customer which ordered the dinner hamburger steak the first time. Pricing is very decent.Dietary restrictions: There's a large salad menu and vegetarian options. “My wife and I ate lunch here. The crabs are succulent and juicy. You get every bit of meat without a fight.. The drinks are superb, and will have you wanting more. The ambience is amazing, with a great blend of music ranging from classical, jazz and r&b to pop and more. Our waitress was Hannah and she totally rocks. Will definitely return for more“
“A proper hole in the wall beer joint. Cold beer, friendly bar tenders, pool tables, and Karaoke on the weekend(Friday and Saturday), and no stupid stuff (fighting, drugs)! Yes smoking (tobacco) is permitted inside because it’s located outside the city limits. BYOB is permitted but there is a fee ($10). Beer and food prices are very reasonable.“
