Fish was too salty. Chicken and pork chop had too much batter and grease needed changing. Brisket had too much liquid smoke and ribs was drying out. The deserts was dry and the pans need to be replaced. This is the one at 205 Thornhill drive, Hattiesburg ,

Was expecting authentic Cajun/Country cooking…….What I got was seafood dressing = stove top stuffing with what seemed like small shrimp out of the freezer section of a local grocery store, no fried shrimp, no boiled shrimp, cold catfish, cold chicken gizzards, cold chicken strips, cheap pudding in the banana pudding, bad service, R & B background music, no Cajun music like the radio commercial says , the only thing that was good there was the sweet tea and sweet potato casserole that pulled my review up from 0 star to 1 star.

I was in town and came across this place. I was really excited, BBQ & Seafood. I was not aware it was a buffet. When arriving around 6:30 pm, there was nobody in the front to greet me. I wasn't 100% sure they were still open or at least still seating people. A young lady in the dining area walked up and said, "She will be up to help you in a minute." A couple minutes later, another young lady came up and let me pay. The food looked like it had been sitting out since about 11:00 am. The deserts didn't even look edible. They had a carving/meat station and nobody was there. I went up and the meat looked really dried out. I started helping myself and the lady who I paid came up and offered a little assistance. This may be the worst buffet experience I have ever had. Huge disappointment. On a bright note, the young lady working in the dining room was wonderful! She was pleasant, on top of refills, etc. She was by far the highlight of the visit.

Stopped here after reading mostly good google reviews. $32 with drinks Wife and I came at 4:15 and were the only ones there. Buffet was full and everything was hot surprisingly. Service was great as it should be since it was just us. Place was clean. Name is misleading. It's neither a seafood or bbq buffet. It's a Southern country buffet.

Got my hopes up for this a week out. Radio advertisement was about the Front Porch having all you could eat prime rib for Valentine's, $30 per couple. I wanted some prime rib. Disclaimer! I failed to find out what time this special was good for. Served 4pm-7pm.Clocked out of work at 5 pm, hit I-59 South only to arrive in time for workflow home traffic in the construction zone. This delayed us 30 minutes. It's not the restaurant fault. Arrived at the facility at 6:20pm, unknowing that the place would be closed at 7pm. Paid 30 dollars and was seated. A typical buffet is what we found with empty salad and a few other sides empty as well as a tin of cold rice on the counter. Went to the carving table after choosing limas, mac-n-cheese, and turnip greens. Limas were the best ?. Greens were tart as hell, mac-n-cheese runny. At the carving table was a piece of prime rib that the gentleman carved one thin slice from and asked if I'd like anything else.( which was the back up plan of brisket and ham) I pointed to the sign and said, " all you can eat prime rib please". He hesitantly carved another thin slice off of what turned out to be, the last of prime rib. I enjoyed what I received in hopes of scoring some more as the rest of the attendees look to have finished eating. Went back for more and was told that it was gone. I got 2 slices of fatty brisket that lacked taste, more limas, and tart greens. The unsweetened tea was great, by the way. I hate writing these kind of reviews. Had I known they were about to close and were out of prime rib, never would've put the money down. I'm a little upset with the lack of communication on the restaurants behalf. They prolly could've said they were closing shortly and were about out of prime rib. THEN I could've made a decision. Once, I sat down and figured things out. I almost got up and left. Hey, ya live and learn. Scratch The Front Porch of my list. The last time I was there, about 10 or more years ago, it was the same place but alot more choices. Won't be back for any more regular ol buffet food.

Below average. This use to be a decent restaurant but now over priced with low quality food. No effort or love put in the food. Fish was so salty, I couldn't eat it. Brisket zero flavor. Have they lost their passion? It seems like it.

One of the better buffets I have been to. They did not have a lot of choices, but every one I tried was good. The food was very good. The service was good. Atmosphere was what you would expect at a buffet. However, there were surprisingly few people there. I was very pleased with my meal.
