Food was tasty but ribs were tough. Woke up at 2 am with a sour stomach and belching. Guess something was a bit off with the food. Got the 2 meat which was chicken and ribs slaw and beans and a roll 17.00

Went in for dinner and tried the pulled pork. It was served cold and tasted old, like they cooked it days ago. I can see why few people were eating there. The honey BBQ sauce and fries were pretty good though.

Went by to pay for a Christmas order, placed in store two days previous. I waited patiently for 20 minutes for the young lady to look for the order. Older short bald man comes out to say that no order was placed because it was not paid for. I told him the young lady was looking for the order and to give her a few more minutes, because I was there to pay. In the mean time I walk over to the second register to wait. The older man and the new employee (who took the order) find the order by the 2nd register. He then turns to the employee and tells her this is not where the orders belong. He rudely turns to me with attitude like I did something wrong and says “do you want the order or not.” I respond with “I’m just trying to pay for the order.” He then goes on “we’re not going to go back and forth. Do you want the order or not.” I did pay because it was food for Christmas dinner. Walked out the door, turned around went back in and got a refund. I will not do business with people who treat customers like this. The young ladies were ok but the older bald man was rude, unprofessional, and gave racist vibes. No accountability for their mistake. I do not recommended them at all and will never go back!!!!

Had an excellent meal for our lunch. The brisket was juicy and tender, lots of flavor.
Very good BBQ. They have their own sauces. Been there a few times and just getting around to reviewing. Either myself or my group have had just about everything on the menu. My fave is the brisket and the brussel sprouts. They are generous with the portions and better than alot of other places I've tried.

Strick's Barbecue is my favorite in Hattiesburg, MS. The food the service and service are great and the service is excellent. The food service to go with the meat is excellent. You can add whatever you like--baked beans, potato salad, coleslaw and homemade bread. Wonderful
