Clean, comfortable, plenty of good choices, friendly staff.... OH! and very good food! They have fine upscale classic diner food such as hamburgers, shrimp po'boys, BLT made with local tomatoes and cooked-while-you-watch real bacon, chicken (of course).... AND home-grown vegetables...purple hull peas, even! and daily specials like Barbeque Shrimp (not just doused in BBQ sauce) and various formats of beef, pork, chicken, and homemade bread... or at least expertly-made-on-site bread......read full review
Food is always so good!!! Had the special today, Tortellini Ala Fini, and it was delicious! Always a good place to find something “different” but you can’t go wrong with a burger and Dixie Fries either.

Traveling through north Mississippi we stopped by Dixie Dinner. We order aTopper pizza & a pepperoni pizza. They were great. Service was tremendous and very friendly. We spoke to the owner to ask how long they had been open. He stated they had reopened since the pandemic the beginning of the this year. He also owned The Gathering another establishment there in Houston. They make all their food fresh. We highly recommend Dixie Diner. We will stop again.
