“No real complaints other than they were out of the friend chicken and the mac n cheese was sitting in grease (though freaking delicious!). I got a meat and two sides. The beef tips and rice were a filling and tasty meat. The spiced collard greens were delicious and the cornbread muffin was perfectly crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. Sweet tea was so sweet, just like i like it.“
“This babrbecue is off the chain. Whenever i come to town this place is a MUST visit. The food is delicious, hot, and fast. My only gripes are1. Baked beans are too sweet2. The sausage link is wack. Its just s regular Bryan smoke sausage no kick very boring. Doesnt even seem like it was on the grill, you should use another brand.3. Yall should open at 11 instead of 12 (lol)“

“So happy to have found this gem. The food was awesome. If you like barbecue, you'll definitely be satisfied. They obviously use hickory or some type of wood chunks that give the meat a delightful flavor. You get the entree plus two sides and a drink for about 20 bucks; very affordable price for a meal. The ribs were tender & tasty. Baked beans reminded me of my own. And the collard greens were perfect. They will surely see me again.“

“The food and service were great. Our first time having Mississippi Barbeque and we were not disappointed! We ordered a brisket plate, a pork plate, brisket nachos, and a kids rib plate. Sides were onion rings, potato salad, cole slaw, and baked beans. Oh, and of course sweet tea. Everything came out hot and tasted fresh. Serving sizes were more than ample. Got a side of Comeback Sauce; best we've had yet. Onion rings were hot and crispy. Baked beans were sweet and slightly tangy. Slaw was slightly sweet and fresh. Potato salad was very good as well. The dry-rub ribs were the best we've had. Smokey, tender, and a good balance of spices. No sauce needed. The brisket was chopped/shredded which is different from what we are used to. Meat was tender with a nice smoke ring and not too much fat. Had to add some salt to bring the flavor up a little, but I'd rather it be that way. The pork was chopped in large chunks. We were served a very healthy portion. Salted it a little, same as the brisket. Good flavor and texture, not over cooked as some places do. Service was super friendly and helpful. Thanks for making our visit so enjoyable! We will definitely be back next time we're in Jackson.“
“I'm from Mississippi now a Texan. I missed the taste of fried pan trout. When home last weekend for my niece's wedding we skipped out on the reception in search of you guessed it PAN TROUT. This place had all and everything my family was missing. There was so much fish we took it back to Texas it was delicious. The owner even threw in sodas for the entire family.“
