“They are so busy!!! But the food was really good. And the atmosphere was awesome. My girls enjoy the ice cream dessertParking: You park around the plaza parking lot. And then a short walk to the restaurantKid-friendliness: I have three kids. 2, 5, and 9. And they loved it. Even though we were loud and ask over the place. We weren't the only ones with kids. And there was a kids birthday party going on in the private room.“
“Good hummus and pita, gyro was good, could have used a tad more tzatziki sauce, the souvlaki was good, too. They were medium busy, our server was efficient but forgot napkins, had to ask for them. All-in-all, average but good dining experience, would visit “
“Absolutely amazing! I was greeting with such a warm welcome. I enjoyed the everything I ordered. Chicken gyro, hummus, and the traditional greek salad. Towards the end of my meal, I had a nice conversation with the owner. So kind and genuine! If you’re looking for some amazing authentic greek choices, look no further. You’ve arrived! Thank you Yia Yia for such an incredible experience. ?“
“Great customer service, and great food. They have outdoor seating. They have gluten-free options as well. I appreciate the care that the nice woman that took our order gave us in ensuring that we all enjoyed ourselves, and allergies were accommodated. A rare opportunity for us to sit down as a family. Thank you.“
“This is my favorite place to get fried catfish. The seasoning is perfect and the portions are generous. I discovered them pre-pandemic and have been loving them ever since. They have a pretty vast menu, so I suppose at some point I'll try other things. Still, the fish is always perfect when I order it.“
“Passing through Jackson enroute to the great solar eclipse of 2024 we found this little place near downtown Jackson and stopped in for dinner on a Saturday night. Seems to be popular with the locals and filled up soon after we arrived around 7p. My wife had the chicken shwarma and it was delicious. Served with pita bread, rice and a wonderful hummus. I opted for the kebab combination platter including chicken, lamb and beef and the same sides as the shwarma. Unfortunately this dish was not the same quality as the shwarma- meat was room temp and rather tough, and I had a hard time distinguishing which was lamb or beef. Notable is that they don't serve alcohol but they kindly referred me to the liquor and convenience stores next door who sell wine and beer and they happily allowed me to imbibe with no corkage fee. Would be 5 stars if not for the disappointment on the conbo plate. But definitely worth checking out for their other entrees.“
