Updated review: I just went back today and I went to get some of the roasted Garlic and Parmesan cheese it was no longer there. I was so disappointed because this is one of my favorite things about newks.I’m glad that they Finally brought back the Royal sandwich. It is one of my favorites along with the newk’s Q sandwhich. Whenever I get the Royal sandwich I always ask them to put honey mustard on it instead of creol mustard it’s good either way but i love their honey mustard. I got the pimento cheese and bacon macaroni and cheese as my side and it is really good. One of my favorite things about newks is that they have a lot of free condiments that are really good. I always get some of the cheese, roasted garlic and siracha to add to my food to give it a little more flavor.

Every person I interacted with was so kind, but the woman taking my order was amazing! I didn’t catch her name, but she and I briefly spoke about Taylor Swift and it brightened my whole evening! Excellent customer service across the board! The food was delicious and the restaurant was clean as well!

I’m not a fan of the automated guy taking my order, but it worked out. They had my sandwiches ready in 10 minutes. The Newk’s Q is the worlds greatest sandwich.

I have loved Newk’s for years for their tasty sandwiches on perfect French bread. The past two sandwiches were on different crumbly, stale bread that is no comparison to the original recipe. The manager confirmed that they have changed suppliers for the sandwich bread.

We like Newk's and go frequently. Given the circumstances of labor difficulties, we get that management has to choose what goes undone. That said, here is what is undone here, trip hazard from broken stair railing in parking lot, booth is broken with bare metal where the booth fits and a lot of filth between the sections. Condiment station was out of items. This has been weeks between visits that we noticed these problems.

This place is constantly dirty. Presentation is sloppy. Would rather eat at home. Newk’s has gone way down.
When you mention locations not to go to. Put this one at the top of the list! I wish I would have took pictures of my sandwich the meat was literally shredded in crumb like pieces. The manger on duty showed no empathy, barely opened his mouth, no apology no compassion. Had my sandwich made over and they made it wrong !!! Still no apology! Horrible service and poor management

The food is prepared well. However, I've noticed if you order via curbside, you will be waiting a lengthy time on someone to bring it out to you. Kinda defeats the purpose of ordering curbside when you eventually have to go on the inside and get it yourself. I even noticed the person next to me had to go inside to get her food. This is after you have already tipped them on the app. It's actually pretty frustrating. When I called (they took forever to pick up btw) and asked about the status of my order, a young lady picked up and told me that I'd just have to come in. My ankle is sprained. That was the entire purpose of me ordering through curbside. She said she'd have someone to come out then hung up in my face. Won't be returning to this location. I understand that these places get slammed and are busy. However, this wasn't handled properly.

Typically we get Newk's in Byram, but we went t lunch with a friend and this locale was so clean and calm! Our cashier had a wonderful sense of humor and the staff was quick and courteous at all points. Never felt rushed or in the way and everyone seemed genuinely to be enjoying a friday in a restaurant which is SUPER rare.I enjoyed the Italian sandwich and Greek salad, while my partner had a Cobb and our friend was having cream soup.Highly recommend the Black and Blue! so tasty....

The girl who brought my order to me was great. She was very fast, friendly and professional. On the other hand, I ordered a black and blue salad, which I have ordered many times from different Newk's. This time there was hardly any steak. Over years of ordering this same salad, I've never had one that wasn't served with plenty of steak. It was mostly debris, and not much of that. I'm very disappointed. You'll lose business. You have certainly lost mine.

Newk's Q Sandwich was great even though they forgot my caramelized onions. Potato Soup was great as well as Peanut Butter Crispies. Will order again.
