The food was good. Price was high, and a gratuity was added to check for two people. Even though it was the weekend, I figured with the high price, they would have the crab legs and oysters. Nope. Service was great, though!

My daughter and I ate at the buffet and I have always felt like my check was more than it was supposed to be, but I usually don’t have my glasses and today. I realize that they have been automatically adding 15% gratuity and most of you like me or probably tipping on top of that, shame on them

My dad loves this place. It is one of his favorite Chinese buffets.

DO NOT EAT HERE!!!Majority of the buffet was not fresh/hot.When I requested for a fresh order of “won tons”-the staff rudely refused.I bought this to the attention of the manager on duty, and no action was taken.I will not be back and I advise you do the same.

We ordered takeout. The food was absolutely awful!! All of it!! The shrimp fried rice was rice, egg shrimp and lots of butter. No seasoning what so ever The shrimp tempura roll was full of romaine lettuce! The dumplings and two other rolls were subpar at best. A total waste of money!!!

Food was good, but I will not be back. It's a buffet with no discount for seniors. I can eat lunch at a hibachi grill for less. To add insult to injury a mandatory tip of over $2 was added to my bill for a serve yourself buffet! Someone got me a glass of water, never checked to see if I needed more.

No idea why Google has this review from Oct 202 posted for Walmart...Sadly forgot to take photos, but had such a great time watching the Chef doing his tricks! We had a separate group at the other side of the station so his show was split and we got to enjoy it more.

Got there right before they closed for lunch so the food on the buffet was cold and not good. I was very disappointed but then when I got the bill I was ticked. There were only 3 of us and I've never had mandatory gratuity except for with a party of 6. They have signs at the front desk but the colors and print do not stand out so I didn't notice it until the host pointed it out when I was leaving. It's on the front door, but the door was held open for me when I walked inside. First and only time there. $55 for an adult and 2 children, who all drank water I may add, is too much for inedible yucky food.

I felt played by this place....the food was really very good..however ..I have been to many many restaurants over the past 5 years and not one ever added the gratuity to my ticket...mind you...I was already going to tip my waitress 10$ for being sweet to me and my children...but when I saw that they already add 15% without informing me...kinda put in a spot to where I don't want to ever go back...if I was informed that this was going to take place I would have been cool with it...but I have never been to a restaurant where they just assume that they did a good enough job to add the tip to the ticket..when I asked about it...the waitress said that they had permission to do so...but she didn't have mine..I'm the one paying them not the city..state or anyone else for that matter...I use to be a waitress for many years and being the woman I am I would have told my tables ahead of time that this is what's gonna take place..I recommend that anyone going out to eat to look at there ticket before leaving a tip on the table..bc unbenounce to you..the tip has already been added..

Absolutely will not be back. You bring us drinks one time and expect us to pay a 15% gratuity fee on a party of 2? This is an outrageous business practice that I will not support. Will be going elsewhere when considering Asian cuisine. BE WARNED!!

I honestly don’t see how this place is still open!! First I want to start off by saying the ichiban in Flowood is my favorite place to eat. I was in Madison today and decided to give this location a try for lunch. Since it’s the same company I figured it would be some good food. We ate the Buffet. My favorite thing at the Flowood location is the coconut shrimp, so I made sure I grabbed plenty since that’s what I go for. I noticed the color didn’t look quite right but decided to try it anyways. Needless to say I discretely spit it back out in my napkin. Either the shrimp was bad or it wasn’t cooked long enough. That was the most fishiest/rubbery shrimp I’ve ever tried. Went to get another plate since I couldn’t eat that nasty “coconut shrimp”. The fried rice was soggy and the wontons were even nasty (who messes up wontons). I will give them credit for the honey chicken. That was actually pretty good. Overall based on my experience and the taste of the food, I will not be back to this location. The cost is definitely not worth the quality and taste of the food you get.
