“Weidmanns is a gem in meridian. Oldest restaurant in Mississippi (1870). I’ve never had anything I didn’t like. I got the fried green tomatoes with 1870 sauce this time.”

“My husband and I came in for lunch the other day because I was desperately craving a torta de milanesa. I'm pregnant and it's all I could think about. While it's not an option on their menu, I noticed they do have milanesa so I asked to have a torta with milanesa. They happily accommodated my request (after some brief clarification that I actually wanted a sandwich lol) and IT WAS DELICIOUS. First of all, this was hands down the best milanesa de pollo that I have EVER had and I try it at almost every Mexican restaurant. Second, I don't know what magic bread they used but it was nicely toasted and just perfect. Add in lots of Mayo, lettuce, fresh avocado, and some of the house habanero hot sauce and I was in heaven. Also, the portion was huge. I was able to take half the sandwich home and have it for dinner. The only downside is that instead of satisfying the craving, it's ALL I can think about! I even leaned over to my husband in church today and whispered, "I can't focus because I cannot stop thinking about that torta."Thanks y'all for accommodating me. I will definitely be back to order the same thing very soon!”

“The food was really good. Lomein had no flavor but at least it wasn't nasty. The building itself is older and not attractive but that happens. Staff looked short. Lady at register was just sitting there, waitress was busy busy and working alone refilling drinks and clearing ”

“We went for the food and stayed because of James and Dione! These have got to be the two most amazing people they have work there. They both go above and beyond to make your experience wonderful! You feel like family she. You leave!I think there is new management which has made a difference was in the morale of the staff there. The atmosphere is not as vibrant as before…Dietary restrictions: You have a wide range of foods from healthy to decadent! And the “healthy” food choices are abundantKid-friendliness: Definitely kid friendlyIt’s a good place for a family outing, date night or a night out with friends”

“This was our first time to eat at this restaurant, since it changed hands. I had ordered the chicken teriyaki, my husband, the hamburger steak with onions and gravyMy meal was a little tough, not terribly, my husband was cooked to well done, and the onions were tough, and he could not eat themIt was a disappointment for me because the salad bar was not as full as it was with the other establishment and you could only make one trip with your entrée. Another point I don’t understand is you are served on a glass plate your entrée a glass bowl for your salad, and if you get soup as one of your sides, it comes in a Styrofoam cup. Actually, I thought that was kind of tacky. The young waitress was nice and attended to us pretty well I would sayShe chewed her gum quite well, the whole time it would have been nice to have just a little soft playing music as part of the atmosphere. It was a bit noisyI had fully intended to get a steak but and I know prices on meats and things have gone up but I couldn’t handle those prices for steaks and they were all too large. They don’t offer anything six or 8 ounce at all.To me the things I enjoyed the most was the bowl of salad with the ranch, salad dressing, and the rollsI did not do my plate and injustice. I was well able to eat my chicken, even though it was just a bit tough. Most of my husbands dinner was left on his plateTwo plates cost us a little over $50 not counting the tip. I’m just saying I believe it could’ve been a bit better for the expense that it was.”

“No problems here. I was able to fuel up and get some food in under 10 minutes. Staff was friendly and the place clean in area I was in. The outside had descent lighting but definitely could be better. The fuel prices were definitely the cheapest in the area this time.”

“Everything about this visit was amazing. Our drinks never got empty, fresh bread was constantly brought. Our orders were cooked to perfection. No long wait on food to come out. Everything went smooth and exceeded expectations”

“This is the best managed restaurant we have been in since COVID. Manager was on site and very active on the floor and food was served hot and tasted good. Waitress was very good and made sure we were well served.”

“The food was delicious! It looked exactly how they displayed it on the menu, and it tasted even better. The service was amazing as well, the lady at the counter was so sweet and all the food and drinks came out very quickly, which is super helpful on road trips. The restaurant isn't super crowded as well so it was pretty peaceful. Everything was very comfortable and it kind of feels straight out of a movie! Everyone was so sweet and if you're friendly with them I'm sure you'll receive the same. I'd definitely recommend coming here if you're looking for somewhere to eat!!”

“My tell the story of America and the experiment banning BW threes. Yes they're short pouring of beer and overcooking of meet brought me to Applebee's tonight for the second time really impressed. The meat steak was not dried out everything was cooked to perfection and low and behold, they actually filled my beer up. Lol the perfect poor Church poor Yes!.The young lady in the picture I couldn't help but notice her and her happy looking attitude while she was at work blowing. Behold, she came over my right shoulder and said well how are you this evening? Lol it was awesome I said well by gosh nice to meet you. Of course she asked me , the question how was I I had to tell her my dog died none of my wives none of my girlfriends get along the whole world against me nothing ever goes right but I have a positive attitude and my beer is half full. Yes she was smart enough not to believe me.thanks Chrislyn the other gang saw us and decided to come jump in for another picture. Thanks you guys, including the manager he's a great leader we all joked around.”
