I've been a student at MSU for a long time. I can say that this is one of the coolest old buildings on campus, and the staff are always so kind and accommodating. Aramark certainly has things it needs to improve with it's on campus dining, but it has done alright with the Perry. It's one of my favorite places to eat and work as well.
This is the old and main dinning hall in MSU. It's mostly famous as ‘Perry's cafeteria'. Most of the dorm students eat here everyday with their block meals. Even if you do not have block meals, you can eat here by paying. I always love to eat here. The breakfast is sumptuous and heavy. The live omelette station is my favorite. It is only okay. The only day worth going is Wednesday - fried chicken day! Otherwise the food is blah. I think they’ve improved it, but it did fail a health inspection before. Since then, my only complaint was that one of the desserts was moldy - it smelled and tasted terrible. I thought it was blueberries, but it was definitely mold!
