“I'm not sure about the other rolls, but the one I had was the deep sea shell roll, which used to be called the wasabi shell roll, and the calamari. The roll was just as I remember it, and the calamari is the best around here, hands down. I've tried to find it when they were closed; trust me, you cannot find it anywhere else but at Chef Scott's. Just know that it is an express place, so it's not designed to be a dine-in restaurant. That's not the experience you will get. Also, the food is served on paper plates and it's BYOB, so just be aware that it is not a fancy dining experience. But the food is absolutely amazing and worth the experience.“
“It was my daughter's 12 birthday and this was her place of choice.. She loves the sushi and the hibachi experience and so do I. We had absolutely no wait at all and this was on a Friday night... maybe we just got lucky, bc the place wasn't empty by no means. Our hibachi chef put on a very good show and it was very entertaining for everyone at the table. The food was absolutely delicious and filling... We all had leftovers.Definitely recommend when it comes to the hibachi experience, the service, and the food!!Parking: Plenty of spaces around the whole building!!Kid-friendliness: It was my 12 year old's choice for her birthday dinner. The hibachi chef made her feel like it was her special day!!“
“Looking for something quick to eat near Wally world that wasn't necessarily out of a deep fryer. As it was after 9pm my options were extremely limited. Fortunately I remembered this place existed and they were open. A fast casual Japanese spot offering sushi, hibachi, yakisoba and other Asian takeout staples. Surprisingly I just went with veggie hibachi and crab rangoon, no sushi this time. This was some of the best tasting takeout I've had in a long time. I usually drown my fried rice in soy sauce, more so here as most places pass off yellow cuban style rice as fried rice. This has so much flavor I never opened a packet. The crab rangoon had actual krab, with a K! I wish I had got soup instead of the spring roll, as it was good but small. And the veggies were really good, yet limited in variety. It was only broccoli, carrots and pineapple. Not a bad combination, but in need of more variety to fill it out. Usually there's cabbage, mushrooms, squash/zucchini, onions etc...again they were cooked well, not raw or mushy, just not a lot of variety. I'm sure their hibachi sauce is good in the meatatarian options as well, I barely touched the hibachi/bangbang sauce. I'd recommend as an Asian takeout, and I'll try their sushi next time.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options for most of their entrees“
“All you can eat sushi was actually surprisingly good. It tasted fresh and great. I was extremely skeptical at first but it was so good I went two nights in a row.Service is ok. First server I had, she was awesome! Very sweet, knew the menu, took care of us. Second server was not great.“
“If your looking for a nice Japanese restaurant that has everything plus more with a great atmosphere and lovely staff, then this is your place.I ordered the tonkotsu ramen, and it was cooked to perfection ? . Would definitely recommend for families for dinner or lunch. They have great specials and great prices. ?“
“The hibachi meals here are amazing!! I’ve had the steak, shrimp, and chicken and love them all! They have the most flavorful Yum yum sauce (pink sauce) that I have ever tasted (& I’ve traveled to many places). I added lots of yum yum sauce in the meal pictured because I’m obsessed! The staff are also so nice. I find prices to be a great value for the food. They have good lunch specials too.“
“One of the best sushi In the Gulf Coast! We come hungry and leave satisfied. Always a unique experience with Chef Andy's creation. One of the few places we can go to for omakase. Really laid back atmosphere and staff is super friendly.“
“The food was fantastic and our waitress was really attentive and cordial. We will definitely go back.Parking: Plenty of room to park.Wheelchair accessibility: Very easy to get inside and around the restaurant. Plenty of room between tables and booths.“
“I've eaten in the restaurant and had take out as well. Each time I have been there, the food was amazing, wait staff was great (friendly and checked on us often), the place is small but not cramped. I will definitely be returning on a regular basis. VIP roll, chicken fried rice (with yum yum sauce), and Rangoon are the absolute best!“
“Great food with a mixture of my favorite “ chicken n broccoli “. We have traveled the world and after moving to the gulf coast six months ago we finally got our favorite food- Chinese food. Great service and got it within 7-8 minutes pipping hot. Want great food—drive here-we did.“
“We actually ate here 2 times on our visit as we liked it so much the first time we wanted to come back and try some different things. First visit we sat at the sushi bar and had sushi and pot stickers. All were excellent, sushi was off the charts and made quickly right in front of us. Next visit we went the noodle route, did pho and lo mein and again, both solid choices. Service both times was attentive and there before you needed them. I would consider this a must visit while at Beau Rivage.“
“I order from here almost weekly for pickup. I love the food. I love the customer service and it’s always so quick and easy to grab after a long day. I love the vegetable hibachi and avocado rolls and that the staff include personal touches. I recommend to everyone always!“
“The food was absolutely delicious, the service was superior, the lighting perfect, the music in the back ground created a nice atmosphere. Ocean Springs has a real gem with this restaurant. This is one of the best food experiences the Mississippi Gulf Coast has to offer!“
